摘要 维多利亚时期的文学以其现实主义风格，尤其是对道德的关注而著称。本文以维多 利亚文学的中产阶级男性作为研究对象，探讨工业革命之后的中产阶级在经济和政治上 的崛起，特别是道德上经受的考验。在工业革命的影响下，这些男性中产阶级有些在经 济上得到了发展，却在道德上处于沦丧状态，有些虽过着贫寒的生活，却保持着纯洁整 治地恶道德观。本论文以维多利亚男性中产阶级人物为研究目标，旨在探究人物的道德
