（英语语言文学专业论文）奥登早期诗歌中对整体性的追寻.pdf

摘要 奥登是二十世纪最伟大的英语诗人之一。尽管他早期诗歌的风格 多变主题丰富，但贯穿其诗歌创作生涯始终的，是他对于人与自身， 人与团体，以及人与社会的整体性的追寻。论文以新批评的文本细读 作为基础，结合传记分析的手法，对奥登早期的诗歌作品中对于整体 性的追寻进行研究，以求更好地理解和接受这位伟大诗人的作品及思 想。 奥登在其诗歌创作生涯之初试图借助于心理分析理论来达到自 我的整体性。在这一尝试失败后，他转而在其诗歌中追求个人与团体 的整体性，但他发现这种团体内部的整体性并不能解决社会问题，事 实上，自我的分裂，人与人之间的隔离正是源自于社会的分裂。他希 望能够建设一个人与社会，人与人之间，人与自身和谐统一的社会整 体。而在追寻整体性的过程中，奥登对于诗歌的社会功用和诗人的社 会角色的看法以及他的诗歌实践也随之发生了变化。
