The thin man is smoking .The boy is coughing and sneezing. The two women is talking loudly. What should you say? If you say, “Hey guy, no smoking!” “Stopping talking!” You order him, maybe they will be angry and fight with you, so we should be careful in complaining and in a polite way. Lets read a passage “Would you mind keeping your voice down?”Ask students to read the new words.Ask students to read the reading strategy on page58.As we read,we need to find topic sentences. Topic sentence is a main idea of a paragraph. It helps us to understand the ideas of a paragraph. It often appears in the first sentence or the last sentence of a paragraph. More details come after the topic sentence. Summary is also the main idea but we can use our own words to summarize it.Step3.While-reading1.
