中文摘要 中国高校法律英语教学现状及展望 摘要 随着我国经济的高速发展，世界经济、政治、科技、信息全球化进程的加快， 中国的法律服务也日益国际化，中国律师开始向客户提供全球性的服务，然而涉 外律师人才一直是我国律师行业的软肋。据统计，全国已有各类律师事务所近1 万个，律师约l o 万人，但其中能从事国际性法律服务的加起来还不足4 0 0 0 人。法 律英语成了阻碍国内律师接手涉外业务的一道门槛。近年来，些机构开始专为 律师举办法律英语培训班。但掘反应，不少律师业务繁忙，很难抽出大块时间来 学习，而且，对于外语基础不好的人来说，光靠工作之余零敲碎打地学习也很难 有实质性提高。 而在法律英语人才稀缺的情况下，作为培养国际型法律人才的关键课程，为 我国政法院校及综合院校法学院系法学诸专业高年级学生开设的法律英语仍未 受到普遍重视，而且法律英语教学中存在着很多亟待解决的问题。 法律英语是一种特殊用途英语，本文针对这种现象，在介绍了特殊用途英语 的定义、历史、分类及与普通英语教学的关系的基础上重点阐述了法律英语的概 念理解问题、起源与发展、特点、发展方向、有关法律英语教学的基本情况和与 法律英语教学相关的理论。 为了进一步说明我国高校法律英语教学现状，作者对从北京、上海、成都和 青岛的六所高校以问卷调查、访谈形式收集的资料进行分析，以揭示目莳我国高 校法律英语教学中存在的一些主要问题，并提出了一些有针对性的建议。同时就 目前法律英语教学所处的社会大背景及法律英语教学的内部条件描绘了我国高 校法律英语教学的发展前景。 本文最后，指出了由于调查的局限性所带来的不足之处，并对在以后的研究 中如何避免此类缺陷提出了建议。 关键词：法律英语教学，高校，现状，展望 a b $ 1 r
