摘要 摘要 我们在日常生活中运用语言时，有的语言会反射自身或是反射到其它 语言形式上去。这表明了自然语言不同于其它符号系统的一种能力，它能 够表现和描述自身的结构和用途，某种语言形式能够镶嵌在另一种形式的 语言运用中。语言学家们称这种情况下运用的语言为元语言，元语言表现 了语言的反射性。这些反射性现象是日常语言交流不可或缺的一部份。 语言的反射性活动极大地影响着人们的语言行为。它使得人们能根据 语境调整和控制自己的语言，从而恰当地运用语言，实现交际目的；它使 人们在交际中能够彼此确认，合作互动，从而展开、完成语言事件。语言 反射现象应归因于人们头脑中的反射性意识。人们在使用语言时或多或少 都知道自己在于什么，他们对自己的语言行为具有一种反射性意识。这种 语言运用中的反射性意识就是元语用意识。 元语用意识是个很复杂的概念，与影响语用事件的因素有关，包括社 会文化的、具体交际语境的、语言使用者心理的、认知的等因素。它与人 们以某种既定的方式使用语言的原因有关，与人们自己怎样看待他们正在 进行着的语言活动有关。它为研究语言运用提供了一个新的视角。本文研 究的就是人们的元语用意识在语言使用过程中的运作和功能，更确切地说， 是元语用意识和语篇生成的关系，元语用意识在语篇生成中扮演一个什么 样的角色。元语用意识怎样影响着人们的语言行为? 它在语篇生成过程中
