硕士学位论文 m a s t e r st h e s i s 中文摘要 本文主要从接受美学的角度深入研究了诗经的四个英译本。传统的翻译批 评研究受作者中心论，文本中心论等文学研究范式的影响，用“忠实 、“对等 等 翻译标准对译文间的差异进行孤立的，静态的比较，以期望选出一个完全忠实于作 者，忠实于原文的定本。这种研究忽视了译者在翻译过程中的主动性和创造性，扼 杀了许多译本的价值。而接受美学强调文学作品是一个未完成的，多层次的图式结 构，充满了“未定处、“空白”，作品的意义依赖于读者的“具体化 ，文学研究要 重视读者对文学作品的接受和理解。把接受美学应用于翻译研究，重点研究译者在 翻译过程中所体现的主动性和创造性，从而使译者摆脱传统翻译研究中的仆人地 位，成为和原作者享有同等地位的创作主体。用接受美学来分析诗经的英译本， 肯定译者在翻译过程中的主体性和创造性，能够给每个译本以公正合理的评价。本 文主要从期待视野和文本的未定性这两个角度来探讨四位译者的翻译过程，首先重 点分析了四位译者的期待视野及其在译文中的体现，然后对四位译者的译文进行横 向比较，来分析他们对作品中“未定处 、“空白 的处理。通过分析发现，四位译 者都根据自己的期待视野对诗歌中的未定性进行具体化，在此过程中，他们充分发 挥了主动性和创造性，积极参与作品意义的重构，每个译本都是他们具体化的产物。 从某种意义上来说，他们已经成为诗经的另一个创作主体。同时，诗经作 为文学作品具有丰富的语义潜能，处在不同社会历史背景的读者会对诗歌的意义作 出不同的阐释，因此诗经的英译还要继续进行，以不断地揭示其丰富的语义潜 能。 关键词：诗经英译；接受美学；期待视野；未定处；空白 a b s t r a c t t h et l l e
