摘要 一般地 兑，人们将翻译看成两种语言之间的转换，认为翻译过程是按照一定 的翻译标准将源语文本译成目标语文本的过程。这对于翻译研究的发展当然有一 定的作用，但随着时代的发展，翻译研究需要更新以适应形势发展的需要。 近些年来，翻译研究呈现多角度，跨学科的趋势。许多国内外学者在语用学的 研究启示下开创了翻译研究的新局面。其代表性成果有比利时的维什尔伦的顺应 理论。该理论将翻译活动看成是一种语言交际活动。在交际中许多因素的影响下 译者不得不做出许多选择使其译本顺应特定的环境。这种翻译研究拓宽了研究的 领域，丰富了研究的内涵：其意义极其重大。 中国有许多优秀的文学作品，但在世界文学领域中却没有获得应有的地位， 部分原因是译作没有得到广泛认可。而好的文学译作怎样才能获得广泛认可呢? 我们可以从研究文学的翻译过程，从成功的文学译作中获得一些可行性启示，以 此指导文学翻译实践来推动中国文学在世界范围的传播。 维什尔伦( j e fv e r s c h u e r e n ) 的顺应理论对此做出了巨大贡献，该理论认为 语言的使用是在不同意识程度下为顺应交际的需要而不断做出选择的过程。以该 理论的观点来审视文学翻译过程，我们就可以发现文学作品的翻译过程是一种类 似的、复杂的、不断选择的顺应过程。因此，本文试图以顺应理论为基础，来证 实文学翻译是一个不断选择和顺应的过程。 本研究将以老舍先生的杰作骆驼祥子的伊文金的译本洋车夫为蓝 本，旨在探讨翻译过程前期译者如何选择译哪个作者的作品以及译作者的哪个作 品和翻译过程后期怎么译等问题。以具体实例说明译者是怎样顺应政治文化环境 因素等做出具体语言选择的。 对骆驼祥子英译本的研究表明文学翻译过程也是一个对此过程中所涉及
