内容摘要 本篇论文用中国传统的意境理论对古典诗词翻译中的意境移植问题进行 初步的系统研究。 中国古典诗词翻译中的意境移植问题是一个很重要但相当难以探索的领 域。其困难主要源于意境内涵本身的复杂性。在现阶段，几乎每一个讨论古典 诗词翻译的人都会谈到意境，但对于意境究竟是什麽，还缺乏一个明确统一的 认识。因此，目前对意境移植问题的讨论呈现一种仁者见仁，智者见智的局面。 通过对中国传统意境理论的初步然而系统的探讨，本文指出意境是情景交 融的艺术形象和它所引发的想象的形象的总和。意境创造的实质并不仅仅在于 情景交融，更在于创造“象外之象”，能够把读者带入一个广阔的遐想空间。 因此，意境实际上是由作者和读者共同完成的。读者的主体性在意境创造过程 中得到了充分体现。 基于以上认识，本论文对译者这一特殊的读者在意境移植过程中的主观创 造性进行了细致的分析。意境移植本质上是一种再创造艺术。其再创造性一方 面体现在译者对原诗意境中的整体审美意象在其头脑中的一种意念构建；另一 方面体现在译者在用译语重写意境时的一种艺术表现力。 本文还从三个方面对中国古诗词翻译中意境移植的不可译因素进行了阐 述：第一，汉语无主句的影响：第二，汉语中没有人称，性，数，格的变化； 第三，意象组合时极大的灵活性。由于这些客观存在的不可译因素的影响，在 大多数情况下，将原诗意境在译诗中百分之百地再现是绝对不可能的。 然而，这些障碍正好给译者提供了空间，使其能充分发挥主观创造性，将 原诗的意境美在译诗中的损失减少到最小程度。基于对意境特征的充分认识， 本文指出译者应抓住意境美的三个基本美学要素，即意象，情，象外之象，用 硕士掌f i ；二二 i i - ： i 、 地道的译语对原诗意境进行再创造。在对大量古诗词译诗进行比较鉴别的基础 上，本文分别讨论归纳了原诗意境的三个基本美学要素在译诗中再现的有效转 换技巧和方法。在此过程中，对译者的主体表现也进一步提出了意见和要求， 特别是强调译者在努力再现原诗意境的同时，还应考虑译文读者在理解与欣赏 译诗意境中的主体创造作用。具体对一整首诗的意境移植来说，本文也强调指 出原诗意境的三个基本美学要素的再现均要以其整体审美意象的和谐转换为 宗旨。
