T: How are you? Ss: Nice to meet you, too.Ss: Im fine, thank you. Step 2 Pre-listening: 1. Teach the new words by guessing game.2. Play the tape for Activity 2.3. Check the answers.Which animals are in danger?4. Homework: Copy the new words in the word list. Read the words theyve learnt.Ss look at the descripitions and guess the words about animals.Then work in pairs to practice the new words. Ss practice reading them individually.Then read them twice.Ss listen and answer the questions in Activity 2.Ss answers.Step 3 While-listening (period 2)1. Check the new words2. Dictation.3. Play the tape for Activity 3. Ask Ss to choose answers.4.Then Play the tape for Activity 3 again. Check answers.Ss read them together.Ss listen and repeat the conversation sentence by sentence.Ss listen and write notes in Activity 4.Step 4 Post -listening1. T explains the key sentences in the conversation. 2. Ask Ss to make new sentences .Ss note them down and learn them by heart.Ss say out their own sentences.Step 5 Practice1.
