( show them the pictures of different sceneries.) if time permits, teachers can describe the cities to the students orally with the pictures.yes, i have. aquarium?” do you know?ss: “i have ever been to ”.t: yes. in english it means at some indefinite time in the past, possibly a year ago, possibly several years ago. contrast that sentence with this sentence without the word “ever” on the screen.did you go to the aquarium on saturday?this sentence is asking about one specific time in the past. do you understand it?ss: yes.t: in the answer, there is a word “never”. what does the word “never” mean?s1: i think “never is the opposite of “ ever”.t: great. if the question uses the word “ever”, the negative answer uses the word “never”. now lets have a game to make sentences with “never” and “ever”. begin, please.s2: ive ever been to beijing, but ive never been to hangzhou.s3: ive ever been to the west lake, but ive never been to shanghai.s4: ask students to have short conversations using the target language and ask two pairs to say their conversations to the class.write the target language on the blackboard.compare have done and did .talk
