谨记：there be结构的be已经是谓语动词，如果后面还有动词出现，要把它变成非谓语动词做定语或扩充成定语从句的形式。一、不同时态的There be 结构1. There will be thousands of football fans in London next month. （一般将来时）下个月伦敦将有成千上万的球迷。2. There is going to be a film in our school this weekend.（一般将来时）我们学校这个周末有一场电影。3. There is to be a concert at the Albert Hall tonight. It is to be broadcast live.（一般将来时）今晚在阿尔伯特会堂举行音乐会，即将要进行实况转播。4 There has been some awful weather lately， hasnt there？（现在完成时） 最近天气有时很糟糕，不是吗？5 He told me that there had been an argument between them.（过去完成时） 他告诉我他们之间有过一场辩论6 There will have been a definite result before Friday.（将来完成时） 星期五以前将肯定会有结果。二、含有情态动词或者助动词的There be 结构There be 句型中be 前面可用一些助动词，如：be about to (就要), be certain to (一定会), be going to (将要),be likely to (可能), be to (要), had better (最好), have to (必须), used to (过去常)be sure， be supposed。三、There be 结构经常和appear，seem，need，chance，happen，prove 等动词搭配四There be 结构也和 be said， be known 等短语搭配1. There is said to be a secret tunnel beneath the building. 这幢大楼下面据说有一条秘密通道。2. There are known to be thousands of snakes on the island. 那座岛上据了解有成千上万条蛇。五.There be 句型中be的替换词有：come (来), develop (产生), exist (存在), fall (落下), follow (跟随), happen (发生), lie (躺着), live (住着), occur (发生), remain (还有), rise (升起),stand (站着)等。这些动词可以有时态变化，及物动词还可以有语态变化。例如：1. There fell a deep silence. 突然一片寂静。2. There remains one more test to be carried out before putting the instrument into operation. 在使用这一设备之前仍有一项试验待完成。3. There isnt going to be any meeting this evening. There doesnt seem to be any meeting this evening There wont be. b)there be 前面还有其动词,则通常是在be后加no E.g. I expect there to be no understanding between us.c)There lies/stand/rise.等结构,其否定句构成如下 There doesnt lie a river before my home. There dont remain any books on the desk. 有关there be 结构的九个惯用句型1. There is no doing sth=Its impossible to do sth. Theres no denying the fact. 这一事实不容否认。 There is no getting over the difficulty. 这困难无法克服。2. There is no difficulty/trouble/problem in doing sth“做某事没有困难”： There is no difficulty in finding his office. 找到了他的办公室没费一点劲。 There was no difficulty in carrying out the plan. 执行这项计划没什么困难。【注】以上的结构中：There is some difficulty/trouble/problem with sth意为“做某事有些困难”。3. Theres no doubt 毫无疑问”： There is no doubt of his success. 毫无疑问他一定会成功。4. There is no hurry/need/possibility (to do sth) “不急于/没必要/不可能做某事)”： Theres no hurry to return the book. 现在不急于还书。 Theres no need to finish the job in so short time.5.Theres no need for“不需要或不必要”： There is no need for help. 不需要帮助。 There is no need for you to go. 你没有必要去。6. There is no question about.“是毫无疑问的”： Theres no question about his success. 毫无疑问他会成功。7. There is no question of doing sth “做某事是不可能的”： There is no question of his coming. 他不可能会来。8.
