Did you do any housework at home? What housework do you often do at home?” List some on the blackboard.Step 2 Presentation(1a)1. Show the photos on PPT and talk about them “What does he do every day? and learn these phrases: do chores, do the dishes, make the bed, take out the rubbish, fold the clothes, do the laundry, clean the living room.2. Check () Peters mother or Peter.First go through the phrases in the chart, then play the recorder for the Ss to listen and check .Play the recorder again, the Ss listen and check the answers.Step 4 Practice(1c)1c Make conversations about the chores in 1a.First the teacher makes the conversation in 1c with a student as an example.Then have the students work in pairs to make conversations about the chores in 1a Step 5 Listening and practice (2a,2b&2c)2a T: Peter asks his father if he can do four things. What does his father say? Lets listen and check () “yes” or “no”. Go through the sentences in the chart, make sure the Ss know what they should do.
