M1 Unit 3 Looking good, feeling good Grammar 1 教案 主编人:杨电 审核人:高一英语组本单元的语法项目是非限制性定语从句。模块一中的第一、第二单元都介绍了限制性定语从句的用法。在第三单元中,再介绍非限制性定语从句。对于学生来说掌握前面的语法内容,本单元的学习水到渠成。笔者首先用表格填空和填词练习进行全方位的复习。通过设置情景汶川地震与学生交流信息来呈现非限制性定语从句的概念。让学生感受语言,通过思考、分析和归纳,发现语法规律,并在足够的语境支持下反复再现语法现象,从而实现从教材中来,到应用中去。Teaching aims: 1. After going over the Restrictive Attributive Clause, the students will be able to learn and master Non-restrictive Attributive Clause;2. After mastering the usage of Non-restrictive Attributive Clause, the students will be able to finish some exercises about different kinds of Attributive Clause.Teaching procedures:Step 1 Revision and Lead-inIn the last several units, we have learned some kinds of Attributive Clause. Lets look at some examples. Look and analyze the sentences.Can you find differences between the Non-restrictive Attributive Clause and Restrictive Attributive Clause? Who can answer this question? Ask students to discuss in pairs and tell as much difference as possible. a. There is a comma before the Non-Restrictive Attributive Clause. b. We cant use “that” in this kind of sentences. c. And we cant miss the relative words, either. II. Lets look at some examples:a. They couldnt lead a peaceful life at that moment, which made all the people in the world worried.b. We can use “which” to refer to the whole main clause.c. OK, and we cant use “that”. III. Other examples.The teaching buildings, most of which were not strong enough, fell down.a. Many people, some of whom are not overweight, are going on diets.b. China has hundreds of islands, the largest of which is Taiwan.c. I have two books, both of which were bought in America. We can find a new kind of Attributive Clause. We can use most/all/both/part/of + whom/which to express a complete to partial quantity.(采用“发现式”语法教学,通过列举三种类型比较简单的句子,让学生采取讨论式发现并归纳出非限制性定语从句的特点。因为这是针对刚刚进入高一的学生,不需要全面,更没有必要列举高考中的要点,教师可根据班级情况,适当补充。)Step3 Practice Lets finish the given exercises on Pages 48-49. Join each pair of sentences to form one sentence. (Part A)1. Amy is an actress. She is Zhou Lings friend. Amy sometimes goes for a walk in the afternoon. It is fine and warm in the afternoon.Amy sometimes goes for a walk in the afternoon, when it is fine and warm.5. Mike has decided to visit the Great Wall next month. His hobby is traveling.Mike, whose hobby is traveling, has decided to visit the Great Wall next month.(引导学生复习非限制性定语从句的基本知识进入运用定语从句的学习环节。既可以复习Reading里的内容,又可复习“Word Power”里的有关运动的建议。)Step4 Consolidation1. Finish Part C1 on page104 in workbook. 2. After finishing it, according to the information, write a composition by using as many as attributive clauses.(进入语言的运用过程,让学生尽可能多地使用定语从句。)Step7 Homework Complete Part B with who, whose, which, where or when. Grammar 2 本单元的第二个语法项目是反意疑问句。Teaching aims:1. After reviewing the usage of intonation, the students will be able to learn how to read question tags;2. After learning the forms of the question tags, the students will learn what question tags are, and in what situations they are used;3. They will be told how to use different intonations at the end of the sentences to express different meanings, and how to form question tags.Teaching procedures:Step 1 Lead-inGood morning. The bell isnt ringing, is it? Lets have a free talk. Today I m wearing a new dress. I want to feel good and look good. I also find one of you wearing a new sweater.He is very smart, isnt he? OK, the bell is ringing, isnt it? Lets begin our class, shall we?Today well learn question tags.1.肯定的陈述句+否定的附加疑问句。 He is very smart, isnt he?2.否定的陈述句+肯定的附加疑问句。 The bell isnt ringing, is it?3. 祈使句+附加疑问句。 Lets begin our class, shall we?Please read the sentences on the screen in a falling intonation and a rising intonation, will you?1. a. Good morning.Do you think the sentences have the same meaning in different intonations?No. They have different meanings. Look at the screen.1. a. Yes.降调的“Yes.”表示同意对方的观点。b. Yes.升调的“Yes?”表示疑问,意为“真的吗?”“是吗?”。在回答对方的呼唤时使用,意为“什么事?”或者“怎么啦?”2. a. All right.询问是否一切正常。b. All right.表示一切正常。3. a. Thank you.表示正式、严肃的感谢。b. Thank you.这是出于礼貌而说的客气话。4. a. Good morning.这是比较正式的问候。b. Good morning.熟悉的朋友之间较随意的问候方式。(附加疑问句的语调在此语法项目中起着至关重要的作用。用最为简洁的日常用语来引入语调的学习。预设情景,引出主题,发挥引入的三个作用,即引起兴趣、宣告主题和推进课程。)Step 2 Question Tags Ask the students to read and research the given sentences about Question tags. Discuss some laws of the use of question tags.Someone ought to clean it today, oughtnt they/shouldnt they?1. 当陈述句的主语是everybody、 everyone,、someone,、no one,、nobody、 somebody 或不定人称代词时,附加疑问句中的主语一般用they,但在很正式的语体中也可使用he。如果主语是everything、something、 anything、 nothing、 this、that时,附加疑问句的主语用it。The car has hardly been cleaned for a few days, has it?2. 当陈述句带有seldom、hardly、never、rarely、 little、nobody、nowhere、 few,、nothing 等否定词或半否定词时,附加疑问句的动词用肯定形式。Their father has a new car, and they clean it for him, dont they?It must have just rained, and the car is very dirty, isnt it?3. 陈述部分是并列句时,附加疑问部分的主语应与邻近分句的主语一致。Only lazy people say theyll work tomorrow, dont they?I think you should enjoy working, shouldnt you?4. 陈述句部分是复合句时,附加疑问句部分的主语与主句主语一致。但如果陈述部分的主语是I think、I suppose,、I believe 等结构时,附加疑问句部分则应与从句中的主语和谓语动词一致。但要注意否定前置的情况。Their father has a new car, doesnt he/hasnt he?Mark has to clean it, doesnt he?5. 陈述句部分有表示“有”含义的动词 have/has时,附加疑问句中的动词部分可以用 have/has/had 或do/does/did形式。而当陈述句部分的 have/has不表示“有”时,附加疑问句中的动词部分需用do/does/did形式。hey?It must be his turn, isnt it?6. 陈述部分的动词是must be, 且表示目前情况的猜测时,附加疑问句部分的动词要
