Emotional aims: 1. Love mother. Love hometown.2. Help the students to form good habits of being a good helper. Key points: Go over the new words and expressions. Difficult points: There be .Talk about places and how to ask for and give directions. Teaching methods: 1. Task-based teaching and learning. 2.The communicative approach. 3.Group work, pair work and individual work. Teaching aids: A poster, a multi-media computer, some designed paper and some colorful chalks. Teaching procedures:Step1. Warm upEnjoy the fascinating scenery with beautiful music. Help the students to set up a feeling of loving nature. Maybe they will be shocked by the beauty of nature, maybe they will lose themselves in the magnificent scenery.设计意图 让学生在优美的田园乐曲中欣赏自然景色,聆听自然的声音,感受自然之美,从而学会更加热爱自然,热爱家乡。同时通过音乐和课件生动的画面,把学生带入到轻松愉悦的课堂环境当中去。Step2.Tasks Show the picture and introduce Kenan and his friends.What happened?Lets go and help the man find the most important letter.I. Talk about the prepositions of places. Watch the short plays and try to find the places you know. Try to find where the mouse is. Match the places and the mouse. Pair work: 1.Chant:Where is the mouse? Its in the house.2. Ask and answer:Where is the mouse? Its behind the case .etc.3. Look and say using there be.(Well done!I really appreciate your work. Complete the conversation.1. Pair work: Fill in the blanks on the screen. Choose the right choice. Then practice reading aloud.2. Group work: Have a discussion. What do you know about asking the way and showing the way? Use the map to make some new conversations. 设计意图 让学生对问路指路有深入的了解和认识,引导学生学会使用地图并培养学生说的能力。让学生在互助学习的过程中更加了解自己的家乡并培养自查和纠错的能力。Task4. Challenge yourself! Listening practice. Choose the correct words to make a whole passage.Play the tape for the students to listen to the short passage.1. Get the students to read the passage and guess what words are missing. Ask them to pay attention to the word spelling.2. Listen and find the answers. Put the words to the correct place.3. Know something about the boy. Use the new words to express what you like. 设计意图 挑战自己,挑战思维。通过猜词,问题提示,向学生展示听什么,怎样听,降低学习难度。让学生学会从听,从残篇中寻求所需信息,并让学生学会在面对问题时要全面考虑。通过合作学习的方式,鼓励学生合作互助。Task5. Challenge yourself! Read the passage and finish the tasks. Learn to solve problems. Guide the students to finish reading tasks. Show them how to find the clues to prove that youre right.Find the whole letter to mother. Lets say happy Mothers Day to our mother.Mothers love is the most important.设计意图 让学生知道任务型阅读也不是那么难,我们可以从文章中找到线索来支持自己的答案。帮助学生学会解决实际问题。母亲节最重要的礼物是show your love.Step3.Group work: Think and say. Summary: Ask the students to say what sentences we can use to ask and show the way. 设计意图 帮助学生拓展思维,引导学生进行总结。这是一个质的飞跃,也是检验学生是否能够运用所学语言正确精炼的描述自己思维的过程。Step4. Homework 1.Copy the useful phrases. 3. Write a composition about the place you would like to go most(your hometown or your school). Enjoy a sample writing first. Useful sentences: Id like you to visit a beautiful place. How to ask and show the way?教有所思:教有所思:1.以学生为中心的课堂教学。根据初中英语话题教学的特点以及复习的需要,在本课的教学设计中,我充分抓住了初中生的特点,利用学生的好奇心和喜欢参与游戏与竞争的心理,设计了一连串适合不同层次学生的活动,通过不断变换的教学形式,由浅入深、循序渐进,使学生领会旅行之乐、游戏之乐、学习之乐。知识要点在活动中自然呈现,学生在活动中理解、体验、巩固和运用规范语言。2.围绕一个话题问路指路。本节课以听田园音乐,欣赏家乡自然风光为开始,让学生从视觉上、听觉上接触自然,感受自然对心灵的洗涤与震撼。教师引入少年儿童最爱的动漫人物柯南邀请大家一起去完成任务,导入复习第一步:认识家乡。接下来设计了五项任务,符合初中生猎奇与好胜的心理,围绕问路指路展开一项项活动,引导学生去闯一层层关卡。由浅入深、由易到难、由单词、短语到语言知识的综合运用,层层递进。而每过一关,柯南都会适时出现,对学生的活动成果进行肯定与表扬,而后鼓励他们继续努力,再接再厉,并在完成所有任务之后发送母亲节贺卡,让学生适时体验成功的喜悦,并给予一
