PEP Book6 Unit 4 When is Easter? -A. Lets try Lets talk 案例分析本节课的教学目标是学生能够听、说、理解Lets talk部分的对话并完成练习。学生能够在情境中运用句型：When is .? Its on .并能在具体情境中灵活运用。本课的重点是：在情境中运用句型：When is .? Its on .难点是：对special days的正确认识及正确表达。Step1 Warm-up and Revision1. Sing the song:The months of the year.2. Read the months quickly.3. Free talk.-When is.? -Its in .（National Day ,summer vacation ,Mid-Autumn Day ,Teachers Day ,Christmas ,Childrens Day)T:These days are special. 设计意图：热身环节：1.利用动画歌曲“The months of the year”热身，让学生观看画面中的月份，在欢快的节奏中进入学习主题，消除学生的紧张感，同时也活跃课堂气氛。2.紧接着歌曲教师在屏幕上依次展示了12个月份的单词，由于前面歌曲已经复习过月份，学生能流利的说出12个月份的单词。3.Free talk.根据图片讨论节日，需要用本课核心问题：-When is.? -Its in .让学生询问节日，为下面对话的学习做铺垫，也为最后的拓展环节编新对话让学生能流利的输出文本做准备。4.巧用评价手段让学生勇于开口俗话说“重赏之下必有敢夫”，奖励可以增强人的动机。小学生有一个特点就是很喜欢老师的奖励：表扬、分数、星星、红旗、或其他小礼物，总之是出自老师之手或老师之口的东西，在学生心目中都具有重要地位。在热身环节中，老师就可以采用了“分组记分”以及“奖励小礼物”的方式，大大增强了学生说的积极性。虽然这是一个很普通的做法，但不竟是一个有效的方法，可以屡试不爽。Step2 Presentation and Practice1. Present:special days(1)T:There are some special days in every months. Whats the mean of special days?(A.普通日子B.特殊日子） Ss:We choose B. Students read the phrase:special days设计意图：紧接着热身环节，引出句型There are some special days in every months.这样先学习短语special days。special这个单词发音有点难，要多读几遍。学生接着在学习句子There are some special days in.就简单多了，学生能把这个句子读的更顺畅，更流利。(2) T:There are some special days in May. What are they?PPT:May Day and Mothers Day. T:When is May Day? T&Ss:Its on May 1st. first ir / bird girl (月份用介词in ，具体某一天用介词on）T: We pick the last two letters”st”plus 1.That is 1st.设计意图：1. 出示五月份的特殊节日。让学生运用句型There are some special days in May.再询问What are they?和学生一起学习May Day, Mothers Day, Dragon Boat Festival.让学生对special days有更深刻的理解。2. 学习句型-When is May Day? -Its on May 1st. 除了学习句型，还适当渗透介词in 和on 的用法。(月份用介词in ，具体某一天用介词on）。3. 在学习Mothers Day和Dragon Boat Festival这两个节日时，对中西传统节日进行比较。让学生明白：We must know the traditional festivals and customs,remember them,and celebrate them.4.在教学Dragon Boat Festival时让学生明白我们端午节阴历是五月初五，但阳历是不固定的。可以通过去年的日期与今年的日期相对比。其目的是渗透this year的教学，为下面对话中this year的学习与理解做好铺垫。5.语法知识渗透教学，序数词完整形式与缩写式的动态变化，让学生清晰明了。教授first之后，把second ,third ,fourth,fifth这四个序数词也渗透一下。让学生初步建立序数词的概念，为下一课时的序数词词汇的教学做准备，也为本课的日期表达做好铺垫。Teach :second ,third ,fourth,fifth.(3)Teach:April Fools Day转盘游戏(Play a game:Ask and answer) -When is .? -Its on.(New Years Day ,April Fools Day ,Childrens Day ,Chinas National Day ,May Day)设计意图：利用转盘游戏，复习与巩固句型 -When is .? -Its on.句型中渗透April Fools Day的教学。转盘上有New Years Day ,April Fools Day ,Childrens Day ,Chinas National Day ,May Day这五个节日的图片。转动转盘让学生运用-When is .? -Its on.句型来问答。目的是让学生把-When is .? -Its on.句型能更好的运用，最好做到运用自如。2. Read and Match.Talk about the holidays with your partner.-When is .? -Its on.设计意图：通过上面的转盘游戏，学生对句型 -When is .? -Its on.能熟练运用了。所以书本中的Read and Match对学生来说已经很熟悉了。我利用Lets play 的内容进行重点突破，以巩固本课的重点句型。3. Lets try.T:There are some special days in different months . Zhang Peng has a special day,too. What is it? In which month?Lets go and have a look.(1) Which month are they talking about?(2) What will they have?设计意图:让学生看图猜测：张鹏也有特殊的日子，是什么呢？这特殊的日子在哪个月份呢？学生根据图片自由猜测。最后教师让学生听录音找答案，最后一起核对答案。本活动的目的是让学生感知对话的核心句型，并能在语境中理解Good luck.的含义。4. Lets talk.(1)Watch and answer. There are some special days in April，too. What are they? 1. 2. T:There are also have other special days in April. What are they? Lets watch the video and answer the question.Students watch and answer the question. 1. April Fools Day 2. Easter 设计意图:学习新对话。首先让学生带着问题（There are some special days in April，too. What are they?）去观看本课的教学视频。通过视频，学生能找出答案。这一活动的目的是让学生带着任务去看视频，这有两个优点。一是学生能认真去看教学视频，有目的性的去完成任务。二是能更好的理解对话。教学April Fools Day时fool的长元音要强调，还可以结合我们之前学过的oo字母组合的两种发音（即长语音和短元音）。这样既能让学生读准fool的发音，同时也复习了oo字母组合的发音规律。(2) Read and answer. Q1:When is April Fools Day? Its on April 1st. Q2:When is Easter? Its on April 5th this year.设计意图：让学生自己快速朗读对话，找出When is April Fools Day?和When is Easter?通过前面的序数词的渗透，降低了学生输出答案的难度。学生能快速找出愚人节是4月1日。在学习愚人节时，教师要介绍一些愚人节的知识和相关的活动，这样可以让学生在最后的拓展活动中输出自己喜欢的节日做铺垫。讲到复活节要强调今年（this year）是4月5日。前面虽然在端午节介绍时渗透了this year的教学。但还应该举例说明一些节日不是固定的，用去年和今年作对比效果更直接，更能让学生记忆深刻。学习复活节时，教师可以出示复活节的相关图片，如复活节兔子、找彩蛋和滚彩蛋等。这样可以让学生拓展活动完成的更加顺利。(3) Read and imitation. Listen the tape then imitate the dialogue.设计意图：听录音并模仿。教师在出示的对话中标出重音、升调、降调和停顿。让学生看着标记有感情的朗读。英语是一门语言，其语音语调非常重要，我们的学生在齐读时容易拖音，且毫无感情。所以平时要对他们的语音语调的培养非常重要。(4) Role Play.Let students act the dialogue.设计意图：通过上面的听音与模仿，学生对对话已经熟悉了。现在应该让学生来“大显身手”了。教师先用教学光盘叫一组学生进行分角色朗读示范，这组学生示范完毕，再让其他同学来展示。这样不仅很好地利用了教学光盘中分角色的功能，而且学生更加清楚怎样能更好的去模仿更好，更准确。Step3 Consolidation and Extension) Group work:Make a new dialogue.Group Work: Tips:四人一组根据信息编对话A:There are some special days in a year.B:What are they?A: .B:Yes.And .
