Im from.”。2、本课时教学难点是句型“We have two new friends today.”的理解和运用，并注意“new”和“friends”的读音。三、教具准备1、表示China、Canada、the UK、the USA的国旗若干。2、Zhang Peng和Amy的头饰。3、多媒体课件。四、教学步骤1、Warm-up (1)Play the song “Hello”, the Ss listen and sing together. (2)Free talk with some oral English learned before:Hello!/Hi!/Good morning! Whats your name?How are you?Nice to meet you.2、Presentation(1) Show the picture of Wu Yifan and tell Ss:“This is my friend, Wu Yifan.” Present the new word “friend”. Have Ss say hello to Wu Yifan. Then Wu Yian says:“Hi, Im Wu Yifan. Im from Fu Yang, China.”Write the sentences on the Bb. Then introduce myself: Im Mr. Wang. Im from China. Ask some students to say like this. Help them to be very familiar with the key sentences. Present the other 3 countries in the same way. Im Sarah. Im from the USA. Im Mike. Im from Canada. Im Amy. Im from the UK.(2) PracticeHave Ss practice the sentences in groups. Then ask some students to the front and choose one of the flags and introduce themselves with the nationality.(3) Lets talk Play the tape. Have Ss listen carefully and try to find who the new friends are and where they are from. Play again. Listen and repeat. Then have Ss read in different roles.
