Module 4 Great inventionsUnit 1 Paper and printing have been used for ages.课型:听说课【学习目标】1.知识目标: a.掌握有关发明及其应用的对话;b.了解两种被动语态的句子结构;c.掌握现在完成时和带有情态动词的被动语态的概念和用法。2.能力目标:能谈论已有的发明创造给人类生活带来的变化,了解发明对人类生活的影响。3.情感目标:通过谈论发明及其应用的对话,加深对人类文明史的了解。【教学重难点】: 现在完成时和带有情态动词的被动语态的构成及其应用。【教学过程】课前朗读: 朗读printing, advantage, digital, digital camera, battery, charge, favour, publish, issue, ordinary, age, replace, see to等单词。根据音标读出单词并了解汉语意思,养成学生自主学习词汇的习惯,促使学生迅速进入学习状态。检查词汇预习:a.采取学生结对、小组互查等形式来检查学生对词汇的预习情况。b.朗读单词,注意发音。一、情境导入教师出示有关数码相机和电脑的图片,然后问学生:What are they? Do you like them? Why? 通过回答问题引起学生的学习兴趣,调动学生用英语思维的积极性, 通过小组间互相对话导入新课。二、小听力(自主完成,合作释疑) 1. Activity 1,采用两人对话的形式,让学生说出网络杂志和普通杂志是否相同,然让说出网络杂志的优点是什么等问题为下面的听力做准备。2.Activity 2, (1) Listen and check the words as you hear them. 如果学生找不出来,可以再听一遍。(2)再听activity 2, 根据对话内容选择正确答案。1) Is the school magazine too expensive?A.Yes. B. No. C. We dont know.2) Where do They want to publish it?A. Paper. B. Online. C. other things. 3) Whose camera does Tony want to borrow?A. His fathers. B. His sisters. C. His brothers.三、大听力 多层听1. 听activity 3, 根据对话内容选择正确答案。!) How many issues have been published?A. One B. Two C. Three2) If the magazine is online, will paper be needed ?A. Yes. B. No. C. We dont know.3) Where did we once get information according to the dialogue(对话)?A. Internet. B. TV C. Books.2. Listen again,finish activity 4, correct the summary, 完成后让学生小组内交流答案。3.读后做 Read the conversation and finish Activity 5。四、理解意思小组间合作解决不懂的地方,教师适时点拨。五、突破重点与难点(一)对重点内容和疑难问题进行合作探究学习。1. Can I borrow your digital camera? 我可以借用你的数码相机吗?borrow 意思为“_”,与lend是一对反义词,例如:Can I borrow your bike? 我可以借用你的自行车吗?He lent his dictionary to me. 他把词典借给了我。注意:borrow sth. from sb. 表示“向某人借某物”, 而lend sth. to sb. 表示“把某物借给某人”,eg: (1)不要向她借钱。_(2)他把他的钢笔借给了我。_自主造句:用borrowfrom和lendto分别造一个句子。_2.Dad,can I ask a favour? 爸爸,能帮个忙吗? 这是请求帮助的一种表达方式,类似的说法还有:Could you do me a favour? May I ask a favour of you? Could you help me, please? 等。3. two issues have been published.已经出版了两期。此句用的时态是_, 语态是_,现在完成时的被动语态结构为_。eg: 他已经完成工作了。_. 自主造句:_4.Whats wrong with an ordinary magazine? 一本普通的杂志怎么了?Whats wrong with ? 相当于_?在不同的语言环境中可灵活地译为“怎么了?” “哪儿不舒服?” “有什么麻烦?”等。 eg:他的胳膊怎么了? _. 自主造句:_.5. and it can be read on screen. 可以在屏幕上读它。此句用的时态是_, 语态是_,含有情态动词的被动语态结构为_。情态动词除can外, 还有_。eg: 晚上可以看见很多星星。_. 自主造句:_.6.It doesnt matter. What are the advantages of books and what are the advantages of computers? Can books be replaced by computers one day? What is your answer? What do you think? (Students can make a guess and speak out their ideas) Lets come to Unit 2 ” (同时板书课题Unit 2 Books could be produced more quickly and cheaply.)三、多层阅读1.
