八年级英语下册Uint5教学设计Unit5 If you go to the party, youll have a great time! Section A 1a-2c浏阳市坪头山中学 于向一、教材分析 本单元是以“参加聚会”为话题,来开展教学活动的。通过谈论某个推断,学习以if引导的条件状语从句。这节课通过丰富多彩的语言实践,让学生既掌握have a great time, organize, jeans, let sb in等词的用法,又在语言情景中对 if 引导的条件状语从句主句用将来时,从句用一般现在时进行了充分的操练。与此同时,引导学生用If引导的条件状语从句来谈论事件之间的因果关系,并分析得出处理决定,或给出解决的意见。从而培养听力,口语交际及逻辑判断的能力。 二、教学目标:1、语言技能目标Talk about consequence.Learn to make decision.2、语言知识目标If you go to the party, you will have a great time. If you do, you will be late.If you do, the teacher wont let you in.What will happen if they have the party tomorrow?When is a good time to have a party? 3、情感态度目标 a. 由于本单元话题贴近学生生活,符合他们热爱休闲的心理,可以提高他们学习英语的兴趣,积极参与英语实践活动。 b. 学习因果关系的表达和做出合理的建议。 c. 谈论自己的感受,同时使学生在英语交流中注意并观察他人的情感。d. 通过小组调查活动:What will you do if you have 5 million yuan?提高学生的慈善心和孝心。4、学习策略目标 a. 通过小组讨论,开展调查等研究,明确在用中学,交流中学习的想法。 b. 通过看谁反应快,并大胆的表达,提高学生的竞争意识,以学习巩固新知识。 c. 兴趣教学策略,其中包括游戏、表演、对话和歌曲。5、文化意识目标 a. 培养听力,口语交际及逻辑判断的能力。 b. 用恰当的方式表达自己的感受。三、教学手段:多媒体辅助课堂教学The first period1. Ss: If it is sunny on weekends, I will play basketball/ go shopping/ go sightseeing.T: If it is rainy on weekends, what will you do?S1: If it is rainy on weekends, I will play computer games. S2: If it is rainy on weekends, I will read at home.S3: .T: What will happen if you play computer games on weekdays?S1: If I play computer games on weekdays, I will be very tired in class.S2: If I play computer games on weekdays, I wont get good grades. S3: If I play computer games on weekdays, my parents will be mad at me.T: We had better not play computer games on weekdays. Do you think so? Ss: Yes. Step 3 Work on 1aActivity 1a introduces key vocabulary and provides reading practice using the target language.(1)First show the four pictures to students and get them to tell what they see.(2)Then ask two students to read the conversation in the speech bubbles in the first picture.S1: I think Im going to go to the party with Karen and Ann.S2: If you do, youll have a great time.(3)Then have students look at 1a.Ask them to match the statements and responses.Step 4 Work on 1bThis activity provides listening practice using the target language.(1)T: Listen to the tape. Youll hear four conversations. Eachconversation will give you the matching response for one of the four statements.(2)Play the recording. Students listen.(3)Check the answers. Let two students read the dialogue.Step 5 Work on 2aActivity 2a encourages students for key words in an exchange.(1)Read the instructions.(2)Play the recording, asking students to complete the task.(3)Check the answers, playing the tape again.Step 6 Work on 2bThis activity provides practice in listening for specific information.(1)Read the instructions. Ask better students to answer some of the questions from memory.(2)Then play the tape again.(3)Ask students to complete the task on their own.(4)Check the answers. Encourage the students to give their answers in full sentences.Step 7Groupwork If you have five million yuan, what will you do?Name Plans me T:Its time for practice now. look at this task four people make up a group. Each group has a group leader. (take a group as an example, the group leader ask the others this question and then give a report. Report like this: If I have five million yuan, I will .
