Unit 9 What does he look like?(教学设计)万市中学 孙妍琪一、 教材及学情分析本课内容为新目标初中英语教材七年级下册的Unit 9 What does he look like? Section A (2a-3d)根据所教学生的已有知识情况来看,本课时内容较少。根据学生情况和本课时教学目标,我将教材内容做了适当的调整。二、 教学目标:1、 复习包括short hair, tall, medium height, thin等表示外貌的词汇,学习heavy, tonight, 等新词的表达法,以及描述发型、身高和体型的句式结构:He has hair, he is , and he is .2、 能根据2d相关的提示问题来巩固将来时的表达法,并以生活场景为内容进行人物外貌描述的对话。3、 能区分名词和形容词的不同搭配和用法,能正确运用be动词和has来描述自己的同伴和喜欢的名人。三、 教学过程教学步骤教师活动学生活动设计意图Step 1. Describing Greet the students and show the descriptive words of different haircuts, heights, and builds. Let the students describe:What does look like?Read the descriptive words of peoples appearances. They need to think about proper usages of the descriptive words. 在与学生的自由交谈和猜测环节中,消除陌生感,复习上节课学过的关于学生头脑中关于人物外貌的描述方式。Step 2. Listening and answering questionsGuide the students to listen to the recordings for the first time and answer the following questions: 1. Is David tall or short?2. Does Sally have long or short hair?3. Is peter tall or short?Listen to the recording for the first time and find out the key words from the listening material and answer the questions in activity 2a, and then answer again in complete sentences.引导学生仔细听录音并根据录音内容来回答2a中的选择疑问句, 先用关键词回答,然后再用完整的句子回答。Step 3. Listening, describing and drawing pictures of different people Ask the students to listen to the recording again, describe three people in complete sentences and draw pictures of them.
