Unit 6 When was it invented?Section A 1 (1a-1c)指导思想：本课是新版新目标英语九年级册上第6单元的SectionA 1a-1c。新课程英语极为突出“以人为本”的理念，重视学生能力的培养。不仅强调向学生传授语言知识，更注重培养学生的语言技能，重视学生的情感和态度，激发学生的学习兴趣，培养学生的学习自信心，最终促进学用结合的目标的实现。本节课的教学设计过程中对教材进行了重整，设计由简到繁，由易到难，以学生为主体，以任务为基础；创设情景拉近学生的学习与生活，创设活动鼓励学生合作，在做中学，在做中练，在完成任务的同时学习语言。教材分析：此套教材集合了美式英语的特点也融入了中国的教学理念，着重于文化背景知识和学习策略等部分，增加了任务型学习成份和语篇输入。本单元的话题为谈论各种古今中外的发明创造。本节为听说课，要求学生能够较为流畅地、简单地介绍其发展史，包括发明者，发明时间，发明物的物质构成和其存在的意义等等。围绕“谈论发明” 使学生学会并巩固一般过去式的被动语态。本单元的教学内容与学生的实际生活密切相关，易于引发学生的学习兴趣及调用其所学知识，丰富其自身并促成其感情的升华。学情分析：九年级的学生英语已经有了一定的语言基础，尤其在听、说、词汇等方面较七八年级有了长足的进步。本节课为被动语态的继续学习环节，所以学生已经具备了谈论这一话题的基本知识。但班级内仍然存在一部分英语基础薄弱者。如何调动这部分学生的上课积极性，以及英语活动的参与性，需要在课堂设计上下工夫。此外，本节课与历史信息相关，能够较为有利地调动学生的兴趣，实现教育教学目标。Teaching Aims： 1.
