M7U2 Reading 案例分析Thoughts on the design:本节课是一节阅读课,首先进行与话题相关的预热过程,其次进行精泛阅读教学结合,训练学生快速有效地寻找信息的能力,在阅读过程中穿插听力,训练学生捕捉细节的听力能力,在了解大意的基础上设置问题进行拓展性训练,培养学生思考问题的能力。本篇是一篇介绍药物的文章,大量出现了与药物有关的词汇,因此需要向学生介绍快速了解药物词汇的阅读技巧,帮助学生在此类文章阅读方面扫清障碍。最后,通过短文关键词填空的形式进行复习巩固。Teaching aims:1. Train students reading ability. .2. Practice students listening ability;3. Improve students thinking ability through discussion;4. Understand some medical terms.Teaching procedures:I.Revision 先学检查。通过paraphrase的形式检查上节课学习的词汇,以帮助学生更好的理解单词的含义。1)modern, of present time2)happening in a lot of places (adj.)3)a medical doctor who performs operations4)the work/action between your teeth5)the skin of a tree6) to make pure7) a doctor who doesnt do operations8) complete change of method, conditions 9) the feeling of comfort that you have when sth unpleasant stops or does not happen 10) a formal (often written) request for sth, such as a job II. Reading 1.leading-in 首先从近期班级里有同学生病入手,引导学生复习几种常见疾病的表达,然后询问学生几种治愈疾病的方法。When people fall ill, what will they do ?-see a doctor, have an injection, take some medicine.If you open up any medicine cupboard or go to any medicine counter in the world, it is likely that you will find aspirin and penicillin.How much do you know about the two medicines?2. Listening 要求学生认真听课文材料,注意语音语调的模仿,并按照屏幕上的问题有意识的获取有效信息。 Listen to the tape and try to find the answers to the following questions:1)3,500 years ago, how could people reduce pains and fever? 2)What did Hippocrates do to reduce pains and fever?3)At the beginning, in what form was Aspirin provided?4)After 1900, why did aspirin become the best-selling medicine?5)Where did Alexander Fleming find penicillin? 6)What are the two problems during the development of penicillin?3.
