General 概 况v The Person working in the chemical laboratory must be safety minded in view of the nature of their job. Safety in a chemical laboratory starts from its design and layout, the type of furniture, hoods and ventilation. The storage and handling of inflammable solvents and low boiling liquids is one of the potential hazards.鉴 于 工 作 性 质，化 学 实 验 室 全 体 人 员 必 须 具 备 足 够 的 安 全 意 识。化 学 实 验 室 的 安 全 始 于 其 规 划 和 布 局， 包 括 家 具、水 池、通 风 橱 及 通 风 设 备 的 选 型 等。易 燃 物 及 低 沸 点 液 体 的 储 存 和 操 作 存 在 潜 在 的 危 害。v Extreme care is necessary in housekeeping, spillage of chemicals, disposal of broken glass, etc.在 保 持 室 内 整 洁、化 学 品 泄 漏 以 及 碎 玻 璃 的 处 理 等 方 面 尤 须 小 心。v First aid facilities for chemical and non-chemical burns, chemical contacts with skin and eyes, and oral intakes of toxic chemicals, should be readily available.必 须 随 时 提 供 必 备 的 急 救 设 施， 如：化 学 品 或 非 化 学 品 的 灼 伤、皮 肤 及 眼 睛 接 触 化 学 药 品 以 及 吞 咽 有 毒 物 质 等。v First-aid equipment and fire extinguishers should be provided at convenient locations. Locating extinguishers at doorways to laboratories is desirable.急 救 设 施 和 灭 火 器 需 放 在 易 取 用 处， 灭 火 器 宜 放 于 实 验 室 门 道 附 近。v Chemical Laboratory must provide eyewash station and safety shower at all times. 实 验 室 必 须 具 备 随 时 可 供 使 用 的 洗 眼 站 和 安 全 喷 淋。 v Check eyewash station and safety shower during the first hour of each shift worked.每 班 在 上 班 第 一 小 时 内 检 查 灭 火 器、安 全 喷 淋 及 洗 眼 站， 并 做 好 记 录。v Proper techniques for sampling, handling sample bottles, and carrying them in suitable holders have to be established to avoid accidents due to spillage, skin or eye contact, etc. Install hoods for all work with highly toxic or highly flammable materials.必 须 规 范 取 样 程 序、 正 确 使 用 样 品 瓶 以 及 选 择 合 适 的 样 品 瓶 来 避 免 因 化 学 品 溅 出 并 接 触 到 皮 肤 或 眼 睛 而 引 起 的 伤 害。 使 用 剧 毒 或 易 燃 化 学 品 需 在 通 风 橱 中 进 行。v All chemicals known to be toxic must be kept in closed containers. These chemicals must be transferred to and from the container inside exhaust hoods. Personnel in Chemical Laboratory should be trained in safety awareness, hazards awareness, proper handling and storing flammable liquids, emergency evacuation and use of protective clothing. The laboratory should be labelled as a Moderate Risk Facility, this means that improper use of material and equipment or violation of recommended safety practice would pose a possible danger to employees.所 有 有 毒 化 学 品 必 须 保 存 于 密 闭 的 容 器 中，取 放 这 些 化 学 品 需 在 通 风 橱 中 进 行。化 学 实 验 室 的 工 作 人 员 必 须 接 受 安 全 意 识、危 险 识 别、易 燃 液 体 的 正 确 取 用 和 存 放 、紧 急 疏 散 以 及 个 人 防 护 用 品 使 用 等 方 面 的 培 训。 实 验 室 是 中 等 危 险 场 所，任 何 物 品 或 仪 器 的 误 操 作 或 违 反 安 全 操 作 规 则 都 可 能 会 导 致 伤 害。v In order to prevent spillage incidents occurrence, all glassware containing chemicals should be put in second container.所 有 盛 有 化 学 品 的 玻 璃 容 器 必 须 放 在 第 二 容 器 中， 以 免 因 容 器 破 裂 发 生 泄 漏 事 件。v During handling, cleaning and disposal of glasswares, extreme precautions are necessary to prevent cut injuries.在 使 用、 清 洗 和 处 理 玻 璃 仪 器 时， 需 特 别 注 意 以 防 割 伤。 不 允 许 用 玻 璃 器 皿 来 盛 放 金 属 物 质。v Special hazards are encountered in handling explosives, oxidising, materials, poisonous substances, and extremely flappable solvents in glassware. In such instance, specific precautions should be formulated for the guidance of the laboratory technicians.v 在 操 作 置 于 玻 璃 器 皿 中 的 易 爆、氧 化 性、有 毒 物 品 及 易 燃 液 体 时 存 在 着 高 度 安 全 隐 患，必 须 定 具 体 的 防 护 措 施 作 为 指 导。v Separate storage for trash, waste chemicals, and broken glass.Put waste materials in proper containers.固 液 废 弃 化 学 品、 碎 玻 璃 及 一 般 垃 圾 应 分 类 存 放。 废 弃 物 应 放 在 指 定 的 桶 内。v Cylinders of compressed or liquefied gas exceeding 1-pint capacity should not be stored in the laboratory. Gases under pressure should not be stored close to the source of heat.盛 放 大 于 一 品 脱（0.473 升 或 0.578 升 ） 压 缩 或 液 化 气 体 的 钢 瓶 禁 止 存 放 于 实 验 室 内。 低 压 气 体 禁 止 靠 近 热 源。2. Chemical Laboratory Safety Procedures化 学 实 验 室 安 全 程 序2.1 General Plant Safety Rules will apply at all times.必 须 遵 守 全 厂 性 的 安 全 规 定。2.2 Follow Laboratory Emergency Evacuation procedure.必 须 遵 照 实 验 室 紧 急 逃 生 程 序。2.3 Follow the specified safety rules in the Standard Procedure for each analysis. Only do what the Standard Procedures say.必 须 遵 守 实 验 室 各 标 准 操 作 程 序 中 的 特 殊 安 全 规 定。 只 允 许 做 标 准 操 作 程 序 中 规 定 的 事 情。2.4 Chemical Laboratory Safety Rules化 学 实 验 室 安 全 准 则：a. No contact lenses shall be worn in the lab. Safety glasses may be removed for cleaning only at cleaning station or when using microscopes and refractometers.在 化 学 实 验 室 里 禁 止 配 戴 隐 形 眼 镜。在 清 洗 站 清 洗 或 使 用 显 微 镜 和 折 光 仪 时 方 可 摘 下 安 全 眼 镜。防 溅 护 目 镜 可 代 替 安 全 眼 镜。c. Adequate precaution (by sign, ropes) must be set up in work area. Only authorised personnel are allowed in work areas. Anyone entering a yellow dotted area must wear the same safety equipment as the operator working in that area. When working with acids, caustic, or other corrosive chemicals in a volume of 500 ml or greater, wear splash proof goggles, a face shield, rubber transport in a rubber carrier.工 作 中 接 触 酸、碱 或 其 它 腐 蚀 性 化 学 品 的 体 积 不 小 于 5 0 0 ml 时，须 戴 防 溅 护 目 镜、面 具、橡 胶 手 套、实 验 室 外 套 或 围 裙 和 长 袖 衣 服。运 输 化 学 品 应 放 在 橡 胶 载 体 中。i. Acids and caustics of more than O.5N or 5% concentration are not to be stored in the same cabinet.大 于 0.5 N 或 5% 的 酸、碱 不 得 存 放 于 同 一 个 橱 柜 内。j. Use of warning signs is as follows:在 下 列 情 况 下， 需 使 用 警 告 标 识：v Hot surfaces 60 or greater must be identified with a “Hot” sign. Treat all unidentified liquid as corrosive.所 有 化 学 品 容 器 上 需 清 楚 标 识 所 盛 物 质。没 有 标 识 的 一 概 作 为 腐 蚀 性 化 学 品。v A “Non-Corrosive Mixed Chemical-Do Not Disturb” sign with the operators name may be used for non-corrosive chemicals.“Non-Corrosive Mixed Chemical - Do Not Disturb”( 无 腐 蚀 混 合 化 学 品不 要 混 淆 ) 标 志 及 使 用 者 姓 名 可 用 来 标 识 无 腐 蚀 化 学 品。k. A carrier must be used when transporting glass bottles or samples in glass bottles to or from the laboratory.当 运 输 玻 璃 器 皿 或 玻 璃 样 品 瓶 必 须 使 用 运 载 工 具。l. The supervisor must be contacted before storage, use, or disposal of chemicals not specially covered in standard practices.在 贮 存、 使 用 或 处 理 在 标 准 操 作 中 未 涉 及 的 化 学 品 之 前 需 告 知 主 管。o. Safety cans will be used to store flammable liquids when the volume exceeds one (1) litter (except reagent grade solvents, which may be, store in their original containers and placed in rubber carriers).
