Be able to use the Present Progressive Tense, used to and should correctly.3. Talk about the pollution, and realize the importance of environmental protection.重点突破 Be able to talk about the ways of protecting environment.难点分析Be able to use the Present Progressive Tense, used to and should correctly.教学步骤 Step 1 . Revision and lead in 1. The teacher shows the words on the screen, and ask the students to translate them into Chinese.2. Watch a video of advertisement about haze from CCTV, and answer the three questions: What is the topic of this advertisement? What does it call on people to do? Why should we protect the environment?3. Show some pictures about the problems that the earth are facing now.Step 2.1a 1. Here are some words related to different kinds of pollution. Write them in the box below. Then add more words.2. Check the answers together.Step 3. Listening.(1b)1. Before listening, let the students know what the material is about, and read the sentences you have to finish.2. While listening, complete the sentences.3. Listen again, and check the answers.4. Role- play the conversation in the material with your partner.Step 4. Pair work.1. Role-play the conversation. Then make your own conversations about the kinds of pollution in 1a. 2. Ask some pairs to share their conversations.3. According to the pictures to write sentences with used to.4. Summarize the usage of used to, and do some practice.Step 5. Group work. 1. Divide the students into groups, and let them discuss the ways to reduce the air, water and noise pollution . 2. Invite some groups to share their ways.Step 6. Language points.1. The teacher explains the language points.2. Do some exercises.Step 7.Summry.Step 8. Homework.1. Write a short passage about how to protect our environment.2.
