Unit 3 Families celebrate togetherLesson 15 A present for Li Ming 教材分析本课的教学内容是第三单元的第三课时,主要内容是购买礼物的对话。设计本课时,在学生学习基础知识,训练运用技能的基础上,着重考虑对兴趣和能力的培养。在生活中寻找体裁,以学生感兴趣的图片入手,通过各项活动,让学生在完成各项任务中,掌握新的知识。通过自主探索,发现问题,解决难点,提高学生的语言运用能力。 教学目标【知识与能力目标】记忆单词size, fit, anyway短语, the same size as, try on。 掌握有关购物的重要交际用语, 掌握句型: What can I do for you? What size does your friend wear? Try on this jacket, please. I dont like the colour, but I like the style. Well buy a red one.【过程与方法目标】Reading and speaking【情感态度价值观目标】学习有关购物的重要交际用语,谈论事物的尺寸。 教学重难点【教学重点】通过精讲巧练, 由易到难, 由浅入深, 循序渐进地深化教学内容。【教学难点】通过学习使学生提高尊重别人和重视别人生日的意识。 课前准备图片,PPT 教学过程Step . Lead inLeading in 【情景1】1. Show some students photos to the class. There are some families having a birthday party. Having a birthday party is very popular in China now.2. Talk about the subject about birthday. The students may have much to say. Ask the following questions.(1)How did you spend your last birthday?(2)What did your family members buy for you?(3)What do you hope your birthday party will be like?(4)Can you make a plan for your birthday party? What is it?设计意图 采取直观式导入新课,为学生创造轻松愉快的学习气氛,激发学生的好奇心,为学习新课做好铺垫。Leading in 【情景2】T: Good morning/ afternoon, everyone. You are all very lively. I wonder who in our class are going to celebrate their birthdays this month or next month. Raise your hand if your birthday is in this month or next month.Allow the students to respond accordingly. Choose one student at a time to speak.T: When is your birthday?S1: My birthday is coming soon. Its on (month/day).T: Wonderful! When its a friends birthday, what do you usually do for him or her?S2: When its a friends birthday, I usually buy him or her a present/make him or her a cake/sing “Happy Birthday”.T: Very good. Let the students read the text loudly in class and answer the following questions:(1)Where does Li Ming live?(2)What size does Li Ming wear?(3)Does the yellow jacket fit Li Ming?(4)Would Li Ming like the bright green jacket? Jenny wants to buy a present for Li Mings birthday.buy sth. for sb./ buy sb. sth.意思是“为某人买某物”。间接宾语前加介词to 的动词有:bring, hand, lend, mail, pass, post, send, sell, serve, show, take, teach, tell, throw, write等。间接宾语前加介词for 的动词有: choose, cook, draw, fix, get, make, order, pick, prepare, save, sing, play 等。2. What can I do for you?这是旅馆、饭店、商店等服务行业的常用语,还可以说成: May/ Can I help you? 或Is there anything I can do for you?3. Would he like a new jacket for his birthday?would like意思是“想要,愿意”,后面可以加名词、代词作宾语,也可以加动词不定式。I would like a long holiday to travel the world.我想要一个长假来周游世界。I would like to know where to find such a beautiful place.我想知道到哪里去找这么美丽的地方。4. Try on this jacket, please.try on的意思是“试穿”。try on是“动词+副词”类短语,这类短语用名词作宾语时,名词可放在副词前,也可放在副词后;用代词作宾语时,代词则必须放在两词之间。类似短语还有:put on, take off, wake up等。He tries it on.他试了试(它)。5. I dont think Li Ming would like that jacket anyway. I dont think 这是一种否定前置(否定转移)的句型。只有第一人称作主语时需要前置,第二、三人称作主语时依然在从句中否定。这是英语的一种习惯表达方式,与汉语不同。用于这种句型的常见动词有: think, believe, suppose, imagine, suppose, expect 等。在这种句式中,not 从宾语从句谓语动词的前面,转移到了主句谓语动词think, believe, suppose 等的前面。I dont believe hell come.我想他是不会来的。 anyway 是副词,意思是“无论如何;不管怎样”。I didnt want to go to the party. Anyway, I went and I had fun.我不想参加聚会的。但不管怎样,我还是去了,而且玩得很开心。设计意图精讲精练, 扫除学生的语言障碍, 培养学生边听边做笔记的学习策略。Step . Practice.根据汉语提示完成句子1. What (尺寸)do you wear?2. I like the (款式), but the size is too small.3.
