Unit 6 I am going to study computer science.第一课时 Section A & Grammar Focus 教学设计 东莞市东坑镇东坑中学李绮平教学目标：1. 掌握一些关于职业的词汇；2. 能正确使用be going to 结构表示将来，谈论梦想；3. 能通过话题的讨论，树立自己的生活目标和制定相应的计划。学情分析：这是八年级上册第六单元的第一课时，八年级的学生已经掌握了一部分职业的单词，对短语want to be 是熟悉的，但是对 be going to 结构的用法还是比较陌生 。教学内容分析： Section A是关于未来职业的谈论，课文相关活动是通过my dream job 为话题学习相关词汇和句型，并引出单元话题生活目标，进而拓展到如何实现目标，内容层层递进，内容看来不多但是贴近生活，有教育意义。教学环节：Before Class: Ask students to preview the new words in Unit 6 .In Class:Step 1: Words Ask some students（后面简写成Ss） to read out the words in this section and say out the Chinese meaning. If they have difficulties in reading the words, I will give them help. （通过此部分让学生掌握关于职业的词汇，为课本学习打好词汇基础。）Step 2： Section A 1a Teach some words about jobs. And ask Ss to find out some rules.Step 3: Talk about dream jobs . Give Ss some examples and ask about their own dreams.（通过此部分的学习调动学生的学习积极性，引导他们树立正确的人生目标。）Step 4: Ask Ss how to achieve their dreams. For example, If you want to be a computer programmer, how can you do that ? Ask them to look at 1b and try to guess.Step 5: 1b 1. Let Ss listen and fill in the blanks.2. Check their answers.3. Try to match without listening to the tape.( 让学生明白：实现人生目标不是易事，必须有行动！)Step 6 : 1c1. Ss read the conversation together.2. Give them time to make similar conversations.3. Ask Ss to find out Kens dream job while they are listening to the computer recording2. Play computer recording.3. Ask them to tell me Kens dream job.4. Teach some language points.5. Give them time to memorize the whole conversation.6. Reciting together while looking at the Chinese meaning. (由于初二学生的英语语感还是不够好，我比较注重堂上给时间他们背诵课文。这个部分本来是role play，我把它改成堂上背诵，给他们一定的时间，他们可以在堂上就把整个对话背出来，我觉得这是提高学生口语和语感的一个很好的方法。)Step 9. Grammar Focus 1. Give the Chinese meaning of the Grammar Focus and ask Ss to translate it into English.2. Check their answers.3. Read together . （ 此部分用于提高学生翻译句子的能力，他们做的时候不知道是语法表格上得句子，如果知道了，就让他们合着书翻译。）Step 10.
