Answer the preparing work about the pictures of page.42-ex3.2. Lead in by talking about the ancient civilization(work with the classmates)Answer the four Great Ancient Civilizations.Try to give some account of each great civilization, for example, speaking China, they can talk about Chinas brilliant civilization, like four great inventions (papermaking, printing, gunpowder, compass)STEP II Warming-upDeal with the Warming-up part of page 42, ex.3.identify each picture in this part.Have a discussion with classmates to complete the task ( to complete the table), What is it made of? Whats its use? And todays alternatives?Then listen to the teacher to make a summary of this and show the PPT of the table list on the screen.At last fill in the blankets.Discusses the right order and fill in the blanhets.STEPIII: ListeningListening to the tape, try to answer the questions about Page42,ex.1-2.Do the Listening task on page 81.【合作探究】Let students prepare for listening,try to guess the meaning of each questions.STEPIV SpeakingTalk about Sanxindui Ruins with Ss.Show the pictures on page 44.
