Last year our suessful applicants came from a variety of countries including China, India, Nigeria, South Africa and Vietnam and they applied for a diverse range of courses including Biomedical Blood Sciences; Finance and Management; Human Rights, Globalisation and Justice; and International Relations. Eligibility The Scholarships are awarded to students applying for a one-year taught masters who can demonstrate excellence in at least two of the following areas: Academic qualifications, English Language ability, Understanding of the course and motivation to study at Keele, Extra-curricular or work experience This award is for international fee payers only and can not be bined with any other University funded scholarship or bursary which is intended for international fee paying students. In cases where an applicant is eligible for more than one award, the highest value award will be applied. Exceptions Please note that this scholarship cannot be bined with any other Keele scholarship. In cases where an application is awarded more than one Keele scholarship, the highest value will apply. PhD and MPhil applicants are not eligible for this scholarship. How to apply To apply for the KIS Scholarship you must have applied to Keele and been offered a place to study here. You must then plete a separate application form. Applications must have been received and processed before the start of academic year for which the application is made. KISS Scholarships cannot be awarded to students who have already started their degree at Keele. The International Scholarships Panel, which consists of Academic and International Office staff, will consider applications on a monthly basis. Only one application may be made and any applications made after the relevant deadline will be considered on a case by case basis. These Scholarships will be awarded to the best 5 entries to the International Smart Minds essay petition. The scholarship will be applied as a tuition fee discount and no cash alternative is available. Eligibility Before applying for the scholarship, applicants must have already made an application for a taught Masters degree at Keele University, to begin in September xx. Any offer of scholarship will be conditional upon applicants meeting the academic and English language requirements for their chosen course as set out in the offer letter. This award is for international fee payers only and can not be bined with any other University funded scholarship or bursary which is intended for international fee paying students. In cases where an applicant is eligible for more than one award, the highest value award will be applied. Exceptions Students who are sponsored by a third party outside of the family are not eligible for this scholarship. The International Smart Minds scholarship cannot be bined with any other Keele scholarship. In cases where students are eligible for more than one scholarship, the highest value will apply. How to Apply Submit an essay of no more than 250 words to telling us which Smart Mind has inspired you to pursue further studies in your subject area of choice. This could be your professor at university, a Nobel Prize winner, or another well-known figure in your area. Essays should be typed/word processed and not handwritten. Please remember to include your Keele ID number in your scholarship application. The deadline for submitting an application is Friday 26th May xx. Essays will be considered alongside the original application to study at Keele, personal statement and academic achievements and the awards made to the best all round candidates. The incentive will take the form of ?500 on a KeeleCard for use in all campus facilities, to pay groceries, caf and restaurant meals, printing and other services across all of the shops and food outlets at Keele. Eligibility All new self-funded international fee paying students who pay their full tuition fees before the 5th January xx if they are enrolling in January xx, and before 1st September xx if they are enrolling in September xx. Exceptions This offer is not valid for students enrolling on the International Foundation Year Programme or students transferring from StudyGroup. Students enrolled under full sponsorship or 100% scholarship cannot avail of this incentive. Research students and students on study abroad or exchange are not eligible. If a student subsequently withdraws from the University, the incentive will be deducted from any refund to which they are entitled. These fee bursaries are worth 50% of the cost of fees. Eligibility These PGT fee bursaries will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and financial need, and available to any International applicants who have aepted a place on a School of Law PGT programme. The programme makes awards to outstanding scholars with leadership potential from around the world to study postgraduate courses at UK universities. Eligibility To be eligible for a Chevening Award, you must: Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country, and intend to return there for a minimum of two years after your Chevening Award has finished. Hold a degree that is equivalent to or higher than an upper-second class (2:1) honours degree in the UK before applying. Have pleted at least two years work experience before applying. This can include voluntary work and paid or unpaid internships. Meet the Chevening English language requirement.
