1、外国制造厂认证程序大纲（BIS）Brief of Certification procedure for Foreign ManufacturersBIS为外国制造厂制定产品认证目录。在该目录中，一个许 可证可以依据印度标准规定的产品特性授予任何经得起校验的产 品。 BIS is operating a product certification scheme for foreign manufacturers. In this scheme, a licence can be granted for any product against an Indian Standard specify

2、ing product characteristics, which is amenable to certification.在生产厂被调查确认符合印度标 志许可并被允许在产品上使用标准标志后，该目录的执行基于生 产厂的自查。 The scheme operates on self-certification basis, whereby the manufacturer is permitted to apply the Standard Mark on the product after ascertaining its conformity to the Indian Standard

12、 after grant of licence, the applicant is required to pay annual minimum marking fee and annual licence fee.随后，证书持有者需要每季度根据标志使用的产量依据规定的费率支付标志使用费用。Subsequently, the licensee is required toquarterly pay the fee based on production marked during the quarter as per prescribed marking fee rates.证书初始周期为一年

14、ependent testing of samples drawn from factory & market etc.有效期慢，持证者应当向BIS提由更新申请并同时支付申请费用和年度证书费用(一年或两年，依据申请)和年度最小标志 费用或依据单元计算的费用，看那个较高(较低的费用已经作为 季度支付)。At the end of validity, the licensee shall apply to BIS on the prescribed renewal form along with the renewal application fee + annual licence fe

15、e (for one or two years as applicable) + annual minimum marking fee or marking fees based on Unit Rate calculation, whichever is higher (less the amount already paid as quarterly fee). 规定的执照更新申请格式应被填写提交给BIS同时支付申请费用和必要的详细的文档，在证书到期前的两个月。Prescribed application form for renewal of licence is required to
