My Favorite Hands-on Course In response to the call of nationwide labor education, a series of hands-on

7、courses were launched last term in our school, ranging from planting vegetables to making traditional handicrafts. Sewing is one of my favorite courses, where I obtained a fundamental knowledge of essential life skills such as sewing a button, knitting a scarf, and making a cushion by operating the

8、sewing machine. It was surely a rewarding and fulfilling experience, which not only enriched our extracurricular life but also helped us acquire practical basic working capabilities for livelihood and form the good habit of labouring. The hands-on courses have won wide popularity among students and

9、exerted a positive effect on the personal growth of everyone involved. If possible, an exhibition could be held to demonstrate students well-designed works and display their creativity.劳动周活动 Aiming to improve the students physical quality, our school launched an activity themed “Campus Labor Week”.

10、It lasted from May 7th to 11th in our school. Some lectures concerning labor skills were given on the first day, which benefited us a lot. Pruning back trees (修剪树枝) and watering flowers were attractions to Senior One students. Varieties of other labor projects gave us an unforgettable experiences.其他

Talking and laughing happily all the way, we walked to the Peoples Park on foot in the early morning. After covering a distance of three kilometres, we finally arrived at the de

12、stination. Upon arriving there, we began to dig holes, plant trees and because of the rain, we didnt need to water the trees we planted. After that, we walked around and did some sightseeing, during which time I took many photos.植树劳动(2) Today witnessed a rewarding activity - Tree Planting organized

13、by the StudentsUnion of our school. Early in the morning, my classmates and I headed for a hill nearby with tools and seedlings. On our arrival, we got down to working together as planned. Some dug pits and put seedlings in them. Others filled the pits with earth, and still others watered them. Thro
