3、ching main points: occupation. To know how to talk about the future Teaching difficult points: To talk about the occupation freely and correctly. Teaching Aids: Stickers,tape,recorder,CAI. Teaching Steps: Step1:Warm-up. 1.To sing a song:The London Eye goes round and round. 2.Play the CAI,tell the st

4、udents that we are going to play a game:Have you got the quickest eyes.Show the class some pictures of occupation they have already know.Make the words fly through the screen quickly.Then ask the students to say the words they saw to reivew the occupation they have learned. Step2: Presentation. 1.Sh

5、ow the class a picture of a policeman with a question What is he. to elicit the Chinese word first.Then show them the word in the sentence Hes a policeman.Teach the word. 2.Continue with the photos of J.K.Rowling,Andy Liu and Ronaldo to teach the words writer,film star and footballer. 3.Show the cla

6、ss a picture of the city in the future and ask Can you see these things in nowadays?When could you see. Elicit the word future in Chinese first.Then teach the word. 4.Show the class the lucky turntable.Explain that they need to read the word that the pointer point to as quick as they can. 5.Ask the

7、students to do the practise Find friends to help them be more familiar with the new words. 6.Say to the students Today we have learned some new words about occupations.Do you want to know what your friends will be in the future?Elicit the positive answer from the students.Then tell them if you want

8、to know what the others want to be in the future you need to learn this question What will you be in the future. Teach the question and write it on the blackboard.Tell them that the question can be used as What will you be. too. After teaching the question teach the answer Maybe I ll be a . 7.Show t

9、he class the pictures of different occupations.Ask What will you be in the future ?Make some individual students to give the answers by using their favourite occupations. 8.Say to the class Now I know some of your dreams.Do you want to know what Lingling,Amy,Daming and Sam will be in the futute ?Eli

10、cit the positive answer from the students.Then say to them Let s listen to the text of Module4 Unit 1 Maybe Ill be a writer.Write down the topic on the board. 9.Play the tape and ask the students to listen carefully.Then show them four questions on the screen.Play the tape again.This time ask the st

11、udents to open their books,listen and find out the answers.Check the answers with the class. 10.Show the pictures of the text on the screen and ask the students Who can speak for them. Ask individual students to read each utterance.The others repeat.Correct the pronunciation mistakes. Step3.Practise

12、 1.Tell the students that I want to make the occupations into a chant.But I can just say the first utterance Maybe Ill be a teacher.Ask the students to help me to finish the chant.Ask individual students to complete the chant by using Maybe I ll be a .and different occupations. 2.Now show the chant

13、on the screen and say it together. 3.Divide the whole class into the groups of four.Ask them to talk about what they will be in the future.Give each group a table to write down their names and occupation they want to be. 4.Choose some groups to show their works. Step4.Summary and homework. Ask the s
