一.题型分析

新的教学大纲把提高学生在交际中运用英语的能力提到最重要的位置,

会考和高考的趋势越来越淡化对单纯的语法知识的考查,而侧重语境理解能

力,但是,如果中国学生不懂得语法,他的语言能力便会受到阻碍,因此新

编高中英语教材仍然适当地安排了语法项目的学习,高考和会考题型仍有以

考语法知识为主的单项填空题,语法基础知识在教学和考试中仍有一席之地。

所不同的是,语法知识的考查越来越趋向语境化.综合化和能力化。

单项填空题在会考中体现为“知识”,分为A)单词释义;B)语法两部

分。单项填空在高考试卷中分为A)语音;B)语法两部分,其中语音5分,

语法占20分,每题1分。语法部分主要考查语法.词汇及课文的惯用表达。

整个高中阶段,学生必须掌握的及会考和高考一定要考到的知识点里的

语法项目如下:

1.词法(词的转化法.派生法和合成法)

2.词的变化法(变过去式.过去分词.变比较级和最高级.基数词变序数

词等)

3.词性(名词.形容词.数词.副词.功词.代词.介词.冠词.感叹词和连

词)

4.句法(句型.时态.语态和习惯用法及陈述句.否定句.疑问句.感叹句)

在所有语法项目中,会考和高考的最重点是动词的两种语态(主动态和

被动态)和各种动态以及三种从句即定语从句.名词性从句和状语从句。

除了掌握上述必考知识外,学生还须了解如下会考和高考趋势:

1.缩减单一的知识题而增加语境题。

2.考题更具迷惑性.综合性和灵活性。

复习建议:

1.注重口语和听力训练,获得更多语感。

2.答题注意语境提示。

3.注意答题技巧。

二.解题思路与技巧

为了在考场上保持最佳竞技状态,获得最理想的考试成绩,考生必

须掌握如下行之有效的解题思路与技巧。值得一提的是,本文将论述的

解题思路与技巧并非考前赌注式猜题押题,也非考试时抓阉式的侥幸乱

猜的猜题法,而是一种在辩证法和逻辑学知识指导下的科学答题法,现

分述如下:

(-)同义排除法

在4个选项中,如果有两个选项同义或近义并且语法结构也相同,

而正确答案是惟一的,不可同时存在,故可排除;如果在剩下的答案中

还有一个虚设答案,排除后最后选取的那个就一定是正确答案,有时尽

管是生词,其义自明。例如:

1.Thewholefamilyareattheirunexpectedgoodfortune.

A.refusingB.rejectingC.rejoicingD.moving

2.H'ebetterleavenow,heissuretomissthebus.

A.unlessB.ifC.orelseD.if…not

分析:A和D用法和意义相同,“同归于尽”;答案B不合题意,排除;

剩下的C项就是正确答案。

3.Mylawyermetoseetothismatter,butwhenthecourtsession

wasopened,hedidn'tshowup.

A.permittedB.allowedC.grantedD.promised

分析:A和B用法相同,意义也相同,都是“允许”之意,排除;而C

是个生词,那就先看D项。如果D项代入题干中合题意并且合语法,那

正确答案会是D而不是C;如果不合题意和语法,那正确答案就会是C

而不是D,正所谓由已知推出未知。此题的D项代入句中刚好既合题意

又合语法,故D为正确答案。

(二)逻辑排除法

有些题凭语法知识和惯用法无法作答,考生只能根据逻辑知识并发

挥联想能力去猜,准能找出正确答案。例如:

分析:A.B.C三项都是分词,它们的逻辑主语都应是asenseofpride

“自豪感”,然而asenseofpride与现在分词或过去分词毫无联系。

“自豪感”既不能看别人,也不能被别人看出,故A.B.C都排除,最佳

答案只能是D。

2.TolearntospeakEnglishwell,。

C.muchpracticeisneedingD.oneisneededmuchpractice

分析:题干是一个动词不定式短语,表目的。我们知道只有人才会有目

的,所以这个不定式短语要求句子的主语必须是人。四个选项中只有B

与D的主语是人,而D项用了被动态,后不能接宾语,故排除,最佳答

案自然是B°

3.fromasatelliteinspace,theearthlookslikeahugeglobe

coveredwithwater.

A.SeenB.SeeingC.ToseeD.See

分析:“从卫星上看”,相对“地球”而言,只能被看,故须用过去分词

seen表被动,所以最佳答案是A。

(三)关键成分排除法

很多题目里都有一个或两个关键词。考生应应冷静思考,排除干扰,

不受迷惑,捕捉关键词。关键词是主要矛盾。抓住了主要矛盾,次要矛

盾就迎刃而解。例:

1.manytimes,buthestillcouldn'tunderstandit.

A.HavingbeentoldB.Thoughhehadbeentold

C.HewastoldD.Havingtold

分析:题干中的关键词是but,它在此句中是连接两个并列句的关联词,

因此,空格处必须是一个完整的句子,并非短语或从句,故最佳答案只

能是Co

A.catchingB.fightingC.chasingD.following

分析:题中关键信息词是noise“嘈杂声”,狗抓猫不能发出嘈杂声,况

且狗不会抓猫,排除A;狗不会打猫,况且狗打猫也不会发出“嘈杂声”,

排除B;狗跟着猫走进花园,不会发出“嘈杂声”,排除D;剩下的C项

尽管是生词,考生不难猜出它是正确答案。C项中的chase是“追赶”

之意,最合题意,与noise挂上了钩。

3.Itisworksofartthateveryonewantstohavealookatit.

分析:“worksofart”文学作品,单复同形,给正确答案的选择带来

了困难,但关键词it说明了worksofart是单数“一本文学作品”,

故正确答案只能是B。

(四)标点排除法

标点符号有时也是解题的重要信息,在题干中抓住标点并了解其作

用,犹如抓住了关键,其义纳举目张。

分析:题中由分号连接两个并列句。空格后有逗号与后面的句子分开。

在ABCD四个选项中只有besides和however后面可用逗号分开。而D

项表转折,不合题意,故选B最合适。

C.ItwasahotdayD.Becauseahotday

分析:题干有分号,连接两个并列句子,这说明空格只能是一个完整的

句子,故选C。

C.howfineweatherD.whatfineweather

分析:根据标点,这是一个感叹句,只能从C.D两项中选取答案。根据

语法规则,how引导感叹句时不能修饰不可数名词,故选D。

(五)暗示选择法

新的高考题型越来越情景化,语境自然巧妙,语意含而不露,不易

捉摸。考生必须细心阅读,看懂句子含义,产生答题灵感。

1.Ifwehadfollowedhisplan,wecouldhavedonetheworkwith

moneyandpeople.

A.litter;fewerB.fewer;less

C.less;fewerD.less;few

分析:此题是考查虚拟语气。这是与过去事实相反的虚拟。含义是“如

果过去采用了这个计划,那我们用更少的人和更少的钱就可把这项工作

干好。”故C为最佳答案。

2.Johnplaysfootball,ifnotbetterthan,David.

A.aswellB.aswellasC.sowellD.sowellas

分析:题中ifnotbetterthan"如果比...不会更好",让人联想到

“那至少和……一样好”,故选B为最佳,D项只用于否定,排除。

3.Theplantisdead.Iitmorewater.

C.mustgiveD.shouldhavegiven

分析:题中Theplantisdead"这颗树苗死了”一定会叹息,找原因,

自然会联想到“我本应给它浇水而没有”的自责,故D最合题意。

(六)共性选择法

在A.B.C.D四个选项中一个选项同时具有另外几个选项的共同特征

时,那它一定是正确答案。

例:

分析:D项中what不能引导定语从句,排除;被定语从句修饰的先行词

既有人,又有物。A项只指人,C项只指物,各失偏颇,而B项恰好又

指人,又指物,具有共性,所以是正确答案。

2.Thedoctorthatthispatientwasbadlywoundedandhebe

operatedonsoon.

A.keptonsayingB.stucktotheidea

C.insistedD.held

分析:题中两个宾语从句,前一个用陈述语气,后一个用虚拟语气,只

有C项insisted既可引导陈述语气的宾语从句“坚持说”又可引导虚

拟宾语从句“坚持要”,具有共性,故C为最佳答案。

3.Thepolicethatthemotiveforthecrimewasjealousyand

theymakeafurtherinvestigationaboutit.

分析:题中也是两个宾语从句,第一个用陈述语气,第二个用虚拟语气,

D项具有共性,故为最佳答案。

(七)比较选择法

用排除法先排除两个选项后,有时考生仍找不到正确答案,这时,

把剩下的两项进行对比就可找到最佳答案。有比较才有鉴别。

分析:surprise作不可数名词时意为惊奇,作可数名词时意为“使人惊

异的事物。”此题题意“你给我带来了一个多么令人惊异的事啊!”把四

个选项加以比较,A项不合语法,排除,B项和D项前无冠词,不合题

意,故正确答案只能是C。

2.Iftherewerenoexaminations,weshouldhaveatschool.

A.thehappiesttimeB.amorehappiertime

C.muchhappiesttimeD.muchhappiertime

分析:此题是一道与现在事实相反的虚拟语气题,意为“要是没有考试,

那我们在学校学习会愉快得多。”题意暗含比较。A项和C项都是最高级,

不合题意,B项和D项比较,B项两个比较的重叠,不合语法,自然正

确答案是D。

(A)筛选选择法

当A.B.C.D四个选项的意义或词形很相似时,其正确答案难以选择,

因为它们的意义易混,模棱两可。这时,考生可集中火力,各个击破,

逐一排除,犹如蛇蜕皮,层层蜕去。

分析:A项指三者或三者以上,而街道通常只有两边,不合题意,况且

all后面的名词须加s,故排除;B项的“两者”虽合题意,但不合语法,

语法,但不合题意,排除。只有D项既合语法又合题意,故为正确答案。

2.ForthefirsttimeInoticedourheadmasterwasablack

分析:此题考“穿衣”,四个动词短语用法辨析。A项为虚设答案,D项

"puttingon”只指穿衣的动作,不指穿在身上的状态,不合题意,B

项“havingon”指穿在身上的状态,但它不能用于进行式,故排除,

正确答案只能是C。

分析:此题考四个动词的辨义。A项mind指“注意”.“留心”,不合题

意,B项matter不及物动词,指“要紧”,作主语的必须是物,不合语

法,D项wonder指“对...感到惊奇”,也不合题意,C项care“在乎",

既合语法,又合题意,故为正确答案。

(九)模糊选择法

如果考生对题中四个选项都一无所知,无法找出正确答案,则可对

所有毫无把握的题都选同一个选项,如都只选A或只选C。这是没有办

法的办法。猜总比留空好,而且使用这种办法猜题,猜对率总在25%以

上。

另外,在阅读测试部分里出现的bothAandC,noneoftheabove,

alloftheabove等答案,95%的可能就是正确答案。
