Step1.Warming-upandlead-in1.Greetthestudentsandaskthemhowtheyfeeltoday.

2.Introducethetopicofthelesson:\TodaywearegoingtolearnaboutpronunciationinEnglish.\Step2.Revisionofthepreviouslesson1.Askstudentstoreviewthevocabularyfromthepreviouslesson(head,ear,throat,neck,back,arm,leg,tooth-teeth,foot-feet,matter,haveacold,stomachache,headache,toothache).

2.Letstudentsworkinpairstoaskandanswerquestionsusingthetargetvocabulary.

Step3.Presentationofpronunciationrules1.Introducetheconceptofphoneticsandexplaintheimportanceofcorrectpronunciation.

2.PresentthebasicrulesofEnglishpronunciation,suchasvowelandconsonantsounds,wordstress,andintonation.

3.Useexamplesfromthetargetvocabularytodemonstratethecorrectpronunciation.

Step4.Pronunciationpractice1.Dividetheclassintosmallgroupsandassigneachgroupasetofwordsfromthetargetvocabulary.

2.Instructthegroupstopracticepronouncingthewordscorrectlyandpayattentiontowordstressandintonation.

3.Afterpracticing,eachgroupwillpresenttheirpronunciationtotheclass.

Step5.Listeningandrepeating1.Playarecordingofthetargetvocabularypronouncedbyanativespeaker.

2.Askstudentstolistencarefullyandrepeataftertherecording.

3.Encouragestudentstocomparetheirpronunciationwiththenativespeaker'sandmakeadjustmentsasneeded.

2.Thefirststudentineachteamwillsayawordfromthetargetvocabularycorrectly,thenthenextstudentwillrepeatthewordandaddanotherword.

3.Continueuntilallstudentshaveparticipated,andtheteamthatcompletestherelaycorrectlywins.

Step7.Role-playandspeakingpractice1.Askstudentstoworkinpairsandrole-playaconversationusingthetargetvocabularyandcorrectpronunciation.

2.Encouragestudentstousethesentencepatternsfromthepreviouslesson(e.g.,\What'sthematter?\\Ihaveaheadache.\whilepracticingtheirpronunciation.
