In April 2004, Canada sent 3809 peacekeepers in all of global peacekeeping operations, among them 2165 people in Afgh

11、merican .,Canada seems the relationship with America as the most important bilateral relations, then keep the close relationship and more emphasis in relative independent foreign policy, pay attention to multilateral organizations and mechanisms, called on countries to strengthen cooperation in the
12、UN and other international economic organizations; actively promote arms control disarmament, the international process, opposed the weaponization of outer space; support and participate in international peacekeeping operations; carry out human security diplomacy.,Canada seems terrorism as the great
13、est security non traditional threats in the world. after happening the incident of 9 /11, Canada actively supported resolution on anti-terrorism and counter-terrorism operations proposed by the UN Security Council, sent troops to Afghanistan to join the American military and a postwar peacekeeping o
14、perations. In Iraq, Canada attaches importance to the role of the United Nations and announced would not participate in any Iraq war without the authorization of the United Nations. Canada actively participates in the postwar reconstruction of Iraq, and has committed substantial humanitarian assista

18、biggest trade partner. The Canadian economy relies heavily on the United States of America. Canadian energy, automotive, manufacturing industry and many other important sectors of the economy are the United States capital control. In 2003, total trade between the two countries for $570264000000to th
19、e United States, Canada exports accounted for $331064000000, with82.52% of total exports; the United States of America imports from239200000000 Canadian dollars, accounting for70.07% of total imports of Canadian, surplus of $91863000000.
