Analysis the textThis is the first lesson of this unit.The main task of this unit is learing the modal verb “can”.When the students finish this unit ,they should be able to express their abilities with“ can”.If they learn this lesson well,they will feel easier in the following lessons in this unit.Only after they master the simple useage of the modal verb“ can”,can they write the advertisement and the poster freely and correctly.So many activities about listening and speaking are needed .I should train the language items in kinds of ways,such as listening, speaking, reading, writing and so on.2.Teaching Aims(1) Knowledge targetA Remember the words and phrasesguitar join chance swim sing chess paint speak cant= can notB Learn to use the drills of this lesson and make full use of them in daily conversation.(2)Skill target Use Can you?
