中文摘要 在最近的二十年里，外语教学研究领域经历了巨大的发展和变化。一方面， 以教师为中心的教法研究正逐渐转变为以学生为中心的学法研究，或者说，何 种教法或做法4 能帮助学生主动、有效地学习证在成为研究的热点；另一方面， 语言教学各个方面的发展给词汇教学提供了新的视角，词汇教学过去被认为是 语言教学的附属部分，近年来逐渐取得了人们的重视，过去的语法为教学重点 逐渐转变成为词汇为教学重点，有关词汇教学的研究越来越多，词汇已成为语 言教学研究的一个重要组成部分。 作为困扰当今大学生英语学习的最大障碍，大学生的词汇学习仍依赖于并 离不开语言教师的指导。因此，科学高效的词汇教学策略的应用对于英语课堂 教学至关重要。纵观关于词汇教学策略的文献，作者发现关于词汇教学的策略 多侧重于理论研究。的确有一些学者做了一些关于词汇教学策略的实证研究， 但是研究仅限于针对某个教学策略的实验，以证实这种策略的有效性。而没人 做过调查来获取科学的数据以说明词汇教学策略在教师授课中的使用情况和 有效性。本论文以此为出发点，提出八种实用性较强的词汇教学策略，并针对 教师和学生进行了问卷调查及访谈。 教师问卷总共包括两部分，共十一道选择题，前三题是关于词汇重要性的 调查，后八题是关于八种策略使用频率的调查。共有三十四名英语教师参与了 此项调查。学生问卷共包括八道选择题，都是关于策略使用有效性的调查。一 共有七十九名学生参与了调查。通过调查发现，大学英语教师普遍重视词汇教 学。教师常用的策略有情景法，语意法和构词法；而学生认为描述法和交际法 的使用效果比较好。通过调查我们看出，教师不常使用的策略却是学生最喜欢 的，说明在教与学之 i j 还存在着矛盾。根据这一现状，本文分析了存在的问题，
