任务教学法在大学英语教学中的应用 学科专业：英语语言文学 指导教师：贾志高副教授 研究方向：语言学及现代英语 研究生：曹浩智 内容摘要 f 随着中国申奥和加入世贸组织的成功，英语的重要性日益显著。但是，目前我 国的大学英语教学并不尽如人意，普遍存在着“教学效率低”和“哑巴英语”现象， 有些学生即使学了多年英语后仍不能用目标语进行简短日常会话。中国大学英语教 学常用的以教师为中心的传统教学方法因忽略学生交际能力的培养己落后于时代的 要求。如何改进目前的教学方法，以应对二十一世纪的挑战，是我们外语教学的当 务之急。净文着重介绍了任务教学法的理论方法以及它在在兰墓亟教学中的可行 性，并对相关课堂步骤进行了设计和探讨。 ，任务教学法的理论基础溯源于认知心理学，这一教学理念是交际法的最新发 展：认知心理学和第二语言习得的理论都试图发现语言使用者在产生语言、理解语 言、或学习第二语言时的心理过程。这些研究证据能使人们更清楚地认识语言及语 言学习的本质。吸收了心理语言学研究成果的现代观点认为：语言学习是一个信息 处理的过程，信息处理分为输入、中心处理和输出三个阶段。语言学习者并非简单 地学习由教师或教科书精心编排按一定顺序的结构，而是依照大脑内在的处理机制 进行语言的组织和发展。这一观点对语言教学产生深刻的影响，也推动了任务教学 法的发展。 任务教学法以任务为中心，学习者须完成各种不同的任务。在执行任务中，学 习者的二语习得机制自然展开，中介语系统得到扩大和正常发展。各种各样的任务 不仅给了学习者大量的机会接触外语，而且提供了运用外语的机会。任务的参与者 之间的交流是互动的，可理解的输入和输出都得到保证，营造了一个有利于学习者 语言习得的支持环境。可以说，任务教学法是对语言习得理论更好理解的演绎。 a b s t r a c tv 任务教学法在西方国家的教育中非常普及，众多的学者和语言学家都赞同和提 倡它，而且大量的研究也证明了它的有效性。在中国，虽然2 0 0 1 年颁布的国家 英语课程标准倡导任务教学法，但很多英语教师对它仍感陌生。并且，有关任务 教学法的研究和推广并不多，尤其在大学英语教学中少被应用。本论文对任务法在 大学英语教学中的应用的讨论是一个新的尝试，以期为大学英语教学改革提供一点 h -
