摘要 隐喻长期被视为单纯的修辞手段。2 0 世纪7 0 年代以来，人们对隐喻的认识 突破了传统的观点，并对各个领域的隐喻做了初步的研究。入们开始把隐喻作为 认知方式来认识。本文旨在通过对英文经济学术语中存在的隐喻现象进行分析以 揭示经济学家创造这些术语的思维过程并阐明这一分析对教学的意义所在。 1 9 8 0 年，莱考夫和约翰逊的隐喻研究专著提出了“隐喻概念体系” ( m e t a p h o r i c a lc o n c e p ts y s t e m ) 的新理论，突破了把臆喻仅看作一种语言修 辞手段的传统研究模式。指出隐喻还是人们思维和行为的方式，即“概念隐喻”。 莱考夫和约翰逊从认知角度分析隐喻现象，提出骆喻是两个不同语义领域的互 动，其中某一领域被用来说明另一领域。被说明的领域被称作目标域( t a r g e t d o m a i n ) ，说明的领域被称作源领域( s o u r c ed o m a i n ) 。隐喻意义的理解实际 上就是将源领域的经验映射到目标域，从而达到认识目标域特征的目的。这一研 究成果为之后的隐喻研究奠定了基础。 许多学者对经济领域的隐喻现象进行研究后发现经济领域存在大量的隐喻， 认识和理解这些隐喻对提高思维能力、更好地理解抽象的经济事物很有帮助。 本文选择以抽象的经济学术语作为研究对象，找出以隐喻形式存在的术语，
