Ability objective:The students can use the target languages to talk about ownership after learning.3. Affective objective:After class, the students can show their interest in sports. Enjoy sports, enjoy life! Key pointsdifficult points:1. Key points:To master the names of balls.To use the target languages to talk about ownership.2. Difficult point:To learn to use “-Does he/she have a/an ?” “Yes, he/she does.”“-No, he/she doesnt.” Teaching strategies:Pair work; Group work Teaching aids:Multi-media, some balls, some pictures Teaching procedures:Step Leading in (2 minutes)1. Ask the students to watch the video, Take me out to the ball game, listen to the song and then sing the song together.2. Ask the students a question: What kind of ball is it about?Step Learning new words (8 minutes)1. Teach the new words by using some pictures on the screen and emphasize the pronunciation of the words.2. Ask the students to finish exercise 1a in P 25.3. Ask the students to memorize the words in 30 seconds and stand up to answer the questions on the screen as quickly as possible. Step Listening (4 minutes)1. Ask the students to finish 1b in P25 and 2a in P26.2. Ask the students to fill in the blanks in their exercise paper.3. Ask the students to finish 2b in P26.Step Pair work (10 minutes)1. Ask some students some questions, “Do you have a/an ?” and “Does he/she have a/an?”.2. Ask the students to read the dialogues in 1c and 2c together.3. Ask the students to practise the target languages with their partner.4. Ask some pairs of students to guess the pictures by using “Does he/she have a/an?”.Step Group work (9 minutes)1. 4 students in a team. The team leaders are the interviewers. They have to interview the teammates:-Do you have a/an ? -Yes, I do./No, I dont. 2.
