Feelings and moodsinstructional designTeaching hours(教学时间): 1 Period(一个课时)Period(课时): The first period(第一课时)Chapter content(章节内容): Feelings and moodsPart1.指导思想与理论依据。1. 把英语教学与情感教育有机地结合起来,将德育教育渗透到学科教学中。2. 以任务型教学为途径,设计贴近学生实际的教学活动。使学生通过观察、比较、思考、讨论,交流和合作等方式,学习和使用英语,完成学习任务。让学生真正把英语作为一种语言工具,通过它来解决生活中的各种问题,培养学生的思维能力和创新意识。3. 设计探究式的学习活动,培养学生的听说读写学习策略,同时培养学生的合作能力。4. 合理利用网络资源和多媒体教学软件,丰富教学内容和形式,提高教学效果。Part2.教学背景、教学内容及学情分析【Analysis textbook】(教材分析)In this unit ,the language aims are to talk about how things affect you and how to express your thoughts about like or dislike .In this class ,let the students talk from colors, weather, music ,and then express it out easily.Language structure :【Analysis of the students】(学生分析) :The students have learned the structure : make sb /sth + adj /do. So this classwe will mainly teach the use of make and to talk about how things affect you and how to express their thoughts about like or dislike while teaching the Structure。And then let the themselves sum up the usage of make and practice them .Part3.教学目标【knowledge and skill】(知识与技能) :1.Review some words about feeling , then present the sentence structure ,let the students can talk about how things affect them and how to express their thoughts about like or dislike ,To train students communicative competence.2. train the students listening ability.【Emotional attitudes and values】(情感态度与价值观)to get through the real life, design some Task-based exercise, let the students talk about their feelings .make them have the ability of telling right from wrong and a strong sense of innovation.【Teaching key points】(教学重点):how to use make .【Teaching difficult points】(教学难点):1. The usage of make .2.How to train the students listening ability.【Teaching methods and learning methods】(教学方法):Task-based teaching method .Independent study method Inquires into the study method Cooperation study method 【Teaching tools】(教学手段):a computer ,Part4、process and measure过程与方法Step Lead- in . Show the Ss a picture and then show the teaching material . Purpose: Arouse the students interest of study. Bring in new subject: Rainy days make me sad.Step II Presentation .Review some words about feeling , then present the sentence structure .A: How does she or he feel?B: .A: What makes him/her sad?B: Rainy days makes him sad.Purpose :Through this part we can consolidate yesterday, communicate with others about their feelings and prepare for the new lesson.Step III Exercise1.We are supposed to make our country _(beauty)2. The teacher said it again and again to make herself _ (understand).3. The teacher make us _(read) aloud.4. The girl is made _ (sing)for them.5 ._lets meet at 3:30. _No ,lets _(做到)a little earlier.6. Mr. Chen makes _(代词)easier for us to learn English well.Purpose :Through this part we can consolidate what they studied, prepare for summing the usage of make by themselves .Step IV Group workAsk the students to sum up the usage of make by themselves and report ,then choose the best group as BEST GROUP.Purpose :Through this part to training and improving their ability of summing and Cooperative learning .Step V Pair workLet the students say out some kinds of music freely , Ask the students to talk about how music affects them. Let the Ss work in pairs. Then choose the three best pairs as BEST PAIRES according to their pronunciation ,intonation and their body languages.S1: Do you like loud music? How do you feel about it?S2: I like it. It makes me comfortable.S1: I dont like it. Its noisy. .Purpose : Train the Ss speaking ability.Its OK that different students have different answers. But its important to guide them to say out “make”. Write the sentences including “make” that they have said on the blackboard to strengthen the teaching key points and prepare for the listening,.Step VI Listening (1b: P102)Ask the students to listen to Amy and Tina talking about the two restaurants and do the exercises.Purpose :Train the Ss listening abilityStep VII Watch the video frequency, and then give them a picture of two restaurants , First let the students compare the two restaurants, and find the differences from the environments and the peoples expressions. then let them make a dialogue like that .Tell them they can discuss from the color ,music and seats. Let the Ss work in pairs and talk about how the two restaurants would affect them. Then choose the three best pairs as BEST PAIRES according to their pronunciation ,intonation and their body languages.Purpose : Through this part to training and improving their ability of observation,and prepare for the listening of 2a and 2bStep VIII Listening (2a,2b: P103)Ask the students to listen to John and Tina and do the exercises. Purpose :Train the Ss listening ability Step IX Group workDo a survey and talk about their feelings . give a report about the result in the group.Get them to have right views.How do you feel about?YouYour friendToo much homework(Group 1) Play computer games too much(Group 2) Endangered animals(Group 3) smoking(Group 4) people who keep you waiting(Group 5) Purpose :Put the moral education into class at the proper time ,help the students have the right values and the ability of telling right from wrong .keep out the bad things in the society. Group work can offer the students the time and spare to communicate with the knowledge they have leaned. Improve the students ability of collecting information and dealing with the information
