How to Grow Happiness?Hello, my honorable teacher and dear fellow classmates! Thank you very much for offering me such a precious opportunity to practice my oral English and bravery. Today my topic is about happiness. Ok. Now question one, what do you think is the true happiness? Earning countless money, becoming a super star or even having seven wives like Weixiaobao? Of course thats impossible the true happiness. As for me, achieving my goals and getting others acceptance can make me happy. If I neednt worry about my daily expense and living normally with my sweet heart, Ill be totally satisfied. Former American President Franklin Roosevelt once said happiness lies not in the mere possession of money; it lies in the joy of achievement, in the excitement of creative effort. Happiness lies in the idea of becoming, in the meaningful pursuit of what is life-engaging and life-revealing. Now there comes the key point. How to grow happiness? Just like agriculture. Therere three basic steps which can contribute to the harvest of happiness.Step one, plant yourself deeply in a bed of faith, and pack it down solid and tight. Drench daily with positive thinking, and keep saturated just right. Mulch often with forgiveness, for this will help you grow. Quickly remove any seeds of worry, for they will soon germinate, and keep out the weeds of despair. Nourish disappointments with hope whenever it is needed, and always stay cool and shaded when you feel irritated or heated. Trim away guilt or depression, for they create decay, and cultivate with happy memories as often as every day.Step two, harvest the lessons of the past; just dig, pick, and hoe. And nurture the roots of the present, for now is when you flourish and grow. Start planting for the future; set your goals in a row. Spade the bed well for all your dreams to grow. Harvest the lessons of the past; just dig, pick, and hoe. And nurture the roots of the present, for now is when you flourish and grow. Start planting for the future; set your goals in a row. Spade the bed well for all your dreams to grow. Step three, Harvest the lessons of the past; just dig, pick, and hoe. And nurture the roots of the present, for now is when you flourish and grow. In life, there are enough times when we are disappointed, depressed and annoyed. We dont really have to go looking for them. We have a wonderful world that is full of beauty, light and promise. Why waste time in this worl
