Unit 7 Its raining. Section A 1 (1a-2b)一、教学目标: 1. 语言知识目标:1) 能掌握以下单词: rain, windy, cloudy, sunny, snow, weather 能掌握以下句型:Hows the weather in Beijing? Its sunny. 2) 能用所学的知识描述天气情况。 3)描述正在发生的动作。 2. 情感态度价值观目标:教育学生善于观察天气,善于调整自己的情绪;了解世界各地的天气情况,增加世界观念。知道大自然的力量是神奇而伟大的,我们应当好好学习,立志学好科学知识,为长大后探索神奇的大自然,打好基础。 二、教学重难点1. 教学重点:1) The vocabulary and useful expressions. 2) Hows the weather? Its raining/ windy. 3) What is he doing? He is playing basketball. 2. 教学难点:运用目标语言来对天气进行问答,并且会问答其他人正在进行的活动。三、教学过程. Greeting Divide the students into two groups: T: Today, we will have a competition between Group A and Group B, if you can answer my questions, you can get a star for your group. Lead-in (Show a video about a weather forecast) T: Whats the video about? Write down the word “weather” in the blackboard. Presentation of the words1. (Show some pictures of the weather) Let Ss look at the pictures and ask them how the weather is. Ss learn the new words and expressions with the help of the pictures. 2. Memory Challenge Game There are three levels of this game. Let the students remember the orders of the flashing of the pictures of the weather.3. Look at the pictures in 1a. Then read the new words on the right. Ask the Ss to match the words with pictures. 1a Match the words with the pictures a-e. raining _ windy _ cloudy _ sunny _ snowing _4. Check the answers. Keys: abecd. Presentation of the sentence 1. Guessing Game Look at some part of pictures and then try to guess the weather. Using this sentence: - How is the weather? - Its . . 2. Watch a flash Ask and answer about the weather in four seasons. 3. Chain work Ask and answer one by one to have a chain work between different team, and the winner will get a star for their group. . Listening 1. Look at a world map, and introduce some famous cities around the world.2. Now lets look at the city names in the box in 1b. Please read after me. Ss read the cities after the teacher. 1b Listen and write these city names in the boxes above.Beijing Moscow Toronto Boston Shanghai 3 Now, Well hear four conversations. Listen carefully, point out each city in the picture as it comes upon the tape. Play the recording a second time. Ask Ss to write the name of the city in the picture of its weather. 4.
