ordownwards fromahorizontal plane called theELEVATION plane The actualextruded height or depth is calledthe THICKNESSand can be positiveor negativerelative tothe setelevationplane This extrudedthickness isalways perpendiculartothe elevation plane Theextrusion isin the Z directionof the UCS icon more on the UCSlater The basicextrudedterminology is displayed inFig 2 1 Note Extruded
