Teach the new words that students are not familiar with.T: Of so many jobs, what do you want to be when you grow up? Show some pictures to learn new words: computer programmer, cook, engineer, violinist, pianist, pilot, scientist,Students think about the jobs and spell them.Students talk about their dream jobs.S:I want to be a basketball player. Step 3 Practice the sentences and play games.Practice the sentence:1. Show some pictures in the big screen. - What do you want to be when you grow up? - I want to be a/an.Ask other students like this:- What does he/she want to be when he/she grows up?-He/She wants to be a/an.when he/she grows up.2. Let Ss play a game: Who has quick eyes?3.Learn “How are you going to do that?”“Im going to take acting lessons./ study computer science./ practice basketball every day. / study math really hard.”4. Finish 1a.Write a sentence on the note like this: I want to be a/an., and I am going to.PK: Ask the ss to read the sentence they write, then the teacher will put up a piece of apple paper on the apple tress, lets see which group is the best. 5. Pair work.Practice the sentenceAsk and answer in different ways.Ss say out the answers and stand up when they play the game.Learn new sentences.Finish 1a: write and read the sentences.Work in pairs.Step4 Listening 1. T: Tell Ss to read the words of jobs in the chart. Make sure they know the meaning of the words and sentences. 2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and Ss listen and match the jobs with activities. 3. Play the recording again. Check the answers with the Ss. 4. Play the recording again. Listen and repeat.Read the words of jobs in the chart.Listen and finish 1b. Listen again, and check the answers.Step 5 oral practice 1. Interview your friends. 2.
