3、tition.Teaching aidsA computer,and a tape-recorder.Emotional goalsEncourage the students to be braver and more active to show their talents. At the same time, widen their background knowledge of English and practise more to grasp the meaning of the listening texts better.Teaching procedures & ways L

4、ead-in ( Pre- listening): 1) A student makes a speech as usual to train the students listening first 2) Review the words learned last time and answer some questions related to the words which may appear in the following listening. (P15. Ex.1)While- listening:1)Just listen without doing any written e

5、xercises. Give the students some warm tips for their listening: Dont focus on a single word you dont know and try to get the main idea and understand what they are talking about.Listen to the conversation again and choose the right answer. (P15. Ex.3) Provide tips for the students: Be relaxed but co

6、ncentrated.Learn to forecast/guess what may be mentioned according to the questions. Guide the students to read the questions and predict the content so as to make better preparations for listening.Complete the sentences in the listening text .( Students come to the blackboard to write the words dow

7、n.) Show tips for the listening again: Dont try to write down every word completely when listening.
