CAUTION:DiagnosisbysubstitutionfromadonorvehicleisNOTacceptable.Substitutionofcontrolmodulesdoesnotguaranteeconfirmationofafault,andmayalsocauseadditionalfaultsinthevehiclebeingtestedand/orthedonorvehicle.

Ifthecontrolmoduleoracomponentisandthevehicleremainsundermanufacturerwarranty,refertotheWarrantyandProceduresmanual(sectionB1.2),ordetermineifanypriorapprovalprogrammeisinoperation,priortotheinstallationofanew ponent.

NOTE:

Genericscantoolsmaynotreadthecodeslisted,ormayreadonly5-digitcodes.Matchthe5digitsfromthescantooltothefirst5digitsofthe7-digitcodelistedtoidentifythefault(thelast2digitsgiveextrainformationreadbythemanufacturer-approveddiagnosticsystem).
