watchingvideos.对于回答做某事的方式,我们通常采用by+动名词这样的短语来回答。Languagepoints的用法
by是个很常用的介词(有时也用作副词),在初中英语中的用法有以下几种:
1)by+地点,意为“在……旁”、“靠近”。e.g.Somearesinginganddancingunderabigtree.Somearedrawingbythelake.
有的在大树下唱歌跳舞,有的在湖边画画儿。
2)by+时间,意为“不迟于”、“到……时为止”。
e.g.Weshouldgettherebyevening.我们应该在夜晚前抵达那里。LanguagepointsLanguagepoints3)by+交通工具,表示乘......(表示方式)。
e.g.Theycrossedtheriverby
boat.他们乘渡船过了河。
4)用于被动句中,表示“被”、“由”等。
e.g.Englishisspokenbymanypeople.英语被许多人所说。(即“许多人讲英语。”)5)意为“由……所作”e.g.ThemusicbyMozartisfamousallovertheworld.Languagepoints
5)组成其它短语:
bytheway
意为“顺便说”、“顺便问一下”,常做插入语。

byoneself意为“单独”、“自行”。
