操作时五指并拢，手指伸直，掌指关节略屈，使掌心凹成“虚掌”，先将术手抬起，对准治疗部位以一种富有弹性的巧劲向下拍打后，随即“弹起”，并顺势将术手抬起到动作开始的位置，以便于进行下一个拍打动作。
