participantstoldtheresearchershowcloseandcommittedtheyfelttotheirpartnerhowsatisfiedtheywerewith

theirrelationship,andhowmuchpassionatelovetheyfeltfortheirpartner.

Aftercomparingthegroups,theresearchersfoundthatthoseexperiencingnostalgiafeltcloser,more

committedandmorelovingtowardtheirpartner,andweremoresatisfiedwiththeiroverallrelationship.Thiswas

trueevenwhenaccountingforotheremotionsjikehappiness,whichmightaffectourviewsofothers.
