intenserainthatiscompletelyoutofstepwiththeclimatetherestoftheyear.Insome

areas,thisfloodingmaybeworsenedbyexcesswaterfrommeltingsnow.Perhapsthe

bestknownexampleofseasonalfloodingistheannualexpansionoftheNileRiverin
