10、 story / magazine /novel, etc. I shall tell you the general idea of the text. I shall tell you sth. about the authors life.,Please analyze the second sentence in Paragraph 2. We shall read this paragraph first and then explain the difficult sentences. Can you paraphrase this sentence?,Whats the func
11、tion of the clause introduced by “that” in this complex sentence? These two sentences are the same in form but different in function. Can you retell this sentence in a way easy to understand?,I think it can be understood from the text. Whats your impression of the story? Dont hesitate to ask me, if
12、anything is not clear. Raise your hand if you cant follow me. Say sth. about what you have learned from (about) the hero.,7. What to say when teaching grammar.,You should have used the future tense, not the present. The definite article has been left out here. The predicate verb must agree with its
13、subject in person and number. Lets not forget the sequence tense.,Point out the subject / the predicate / the object / the adverbial, etc. The first letter of a proper noun must be capitalized. What kind of verb is “get” here? Its a link verb.,Dont be confused about the usage of the past tense and t
14、he present perfect tense. Please explain why the order of the sentence is inverted. Your sentence is grammatically correct, but idiomatically not. It should be . Can you replace the attributive clause with a participle phrase?,8. What to say when teaching phonetics?,This is a front / central / back
15、vowel. Your lips should be spread / loosely spread /rounded. Notice how my tongue touches my teeth. Transcribe in phonetic symbols what you have heard.,We must pay attention to sentence stress /sense groups / liasons. You had better use the falling tone here. General questions are usually read in th
16、e rising tone. Put some feeling into your reading.,You should not pause in the middle of a sense group. Youve read quite well except for one place. Youve mispronounced the word. 17、e text in pairs. Listen carefully and see whether his answer is correct. Can you improve on his answer? / Can you make it better? 19、t to say when doing written exercises?,Copy them into your exercise books. Write sentences after the given model. Write a short passage using these phrases. What did you put for No.3?,See if you can put the verb in the right form. Exchange papers with somebody nearby / your partner. Mark the right /
20、 wrong answer with a tick / cross. Give yourself one point for every correct answer.,Which of the four choices best completes the sentence? C is the right choice. It fits the sentence idiomatically. Make sure to write them out clearly in your exercise book. Please hand in clear copies.,Youve made go

Can you translate it into Chinese / English for
